the passion of being a woman, i would have not known what to do with all this feeling and sensing had i not had my creative craft as a writer. a sort of place of worship and atelier and study all in one. that’s why i feel so deeply for supporting, guiding and inspiring women to live a wildly passionate and creative life through the work we do on @illumination__vibration ❤️‍🔥 to continue to feed the fire, drink the nectar and create with our whole body. to continue to let life carve us, sculpt us, move us and breathe life into us. and to share it with each other and the world. this is THE MUSES!

our next season begins November 10th — stay in orbit for more magik soon.

this one is for the girlies who never really identified with the clean girl pilates aesthetic. at @iuno.house we’re loud, diverse, creative, a little chaotic and from all kinds of backgrounds.

A few months back I wrote an essay on a few awkward things I did in my 30s and it went slightly viral on substack. Usually I write in-depth prose and poetry on grief, god and eroticism but this one made a lot of you feel seen and less alone, and that is one of my main purposes as a writer. Read the full story on amandanorgaard.substack.com — and meanwhile here’s the gist of it (and dont be shy drop your awkward in the comments also known as the pool of the brave):

A lot of the things I’ve done or do that make me cringe in the company of the conventional course, are actually things I find courageous had I heard a similar arc in another woman’s plot twist. So, first and foremost: I am sharing this, because this is my life and all I really know to do (and love to do) is to share what moved me. Whether that movement was caused by a breeze or a floodgate. I said: What moved me. Not: What felt nice, easy and always comfortable — hence why you’ll see many morbid titles here that include bones more than once. Perhaps you’re in a threshold where one part of you wants to stay on the seemingly sensical track, but another part of you is yearning to fuck around and find out. If you’re afraid of being the odd one out, worry not, you’ve got me (and THE MUSES @illumination__vibration — basically I saw it fit to create a place for wildly brilliant, insanely creative and slightly neuro-spicy women with tons of audacity and awkwardness to shape up the world). I’m a shower and a teller — which I guess makes me a storyteller? Never afraid to put myself on the line, never afraid to test just how far, how deep or how real magical thinking and practical dreaming gets me and never afraid to make a mistake and do it differently next time. At the same time, it goes hand in hand with days of doubt because surely, life could be so much easier had I not decided to make a few of these moves. However, while I welcome ease into my life, I am more concerned with being true. So here are a few of the awkward (brave) things I did in my 30s 📋
