Thanks to @gtmagazine for sharing my story and helping raise awareness of the incredible @barwonhealthfoundation as we continue to raise vital funds through @dryjuly. 🍸

It’s not always easy putting your health journey out there, especially online, but everyone has been absolutely bloody amazing, getting behind me, supporting @dryjuly and so many other great causes - so it’s worth it!

Colour has always been a big theme in my life, and the incredible nurses, doctors, caregivers and staff at @barwon_health, along with my family, friends and online community, have brought that colour into every single day.

I can’t wait to get better so I can hug the living daylights out of everyone!

So proud to finally share this beautiful feature in @hoofbeatsmagazine — with Nellie Tuddenham riding for @move_4bella in this years Tour d’Horse. Nell on front cover plus a four-page feature inside from p10.

This story captures the heart of Tour d’Horse and the journey that began because of one very special little girl… Bella 🤍

It honours Bella, the cherished granddaughter of KIDS Foundation Founder Dr Susie O’Neill and beloved sister to Nellie, who sadly passed away from SMA. Bella’s legacy is the reason horses became such an important part of the KIDS Foundation and continues to inspire everything Tour d’Horse stands for.

It also reflects Susie’s vision of bringing horses into the KIDS Foundation because of Bella, plus Nellie’s incredible love of horses and why she rides in Bella’s honour.

Tivoli is featured in an endurance magazine article, produced by @queenslandendurance 💕🐴 'Before' shot of the then 9 year old, out of work mare was snapped by moi on take home day, in April '24. She was very much in paddock condition and needed a job! I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to call myself 'significant human', to my endurancing partner.

Our journey is reflected in the shots. It has been a slow 'n steady adventure, which includes some frisky, spicy (perhaps even witchy!!) moments, from a horse that needs to be carefully managed. That said, I love the spunk, which is also coupled with smoochy sweetness. She can "buck up hill in a canter when she's feeling good and would go through a brick wall" ¹ for me.

As part of our recent photoshoot across the Sydney Road Brunswick precinct, here’s a peek inside Palomino Neighbourhood Bar - a much-loved local tucked just off Sydney Road on Anstey Way.

Drawing inspiration from Southern European wine bars, bistros and all-day drinking spots, Palomino is warm, bright and effortlessly inviting, with subtle art nouveau flourishes that give the space its distinctive character. It’s the kind of place that feels just as right for an afternoon drink as it does for a long, easy evening.
