And guess what, the wedding is THIS October.

We can make things happen pretty quickly around here. If you're thinking of a cheeky elopement just say the word... we can make it happen even at fairly short notice.

The Australian Ballet National Tour 26

I can’t believe I can say I have been on National Tour with @ausballet. After my graduating year in 2021 was cancelled due to covid, this tour feels even more special to me.

This tour has been the most magical experience and a career highlight. I will forever cherish this time on the road.

These are some of the most memorable moments:

- Performing incredible repertoire that demands absolute detail, precision, energy and most importantly having fun.

- Watching your friends nail every show and shine so bright that they have the biggest grins on their faces.

I’m so proud of everything that you have achieved on this tour and I’m so grateful that we all had this beautiful experience together. You made my experience of national tour so much fun and I couldn’t have done it without.

- Performing in theatres around Australia (raked or not raked) and seeing other beautiful parts of the country that we usually don’t see.

- Bring ballet to communities that don’t often have access to this art from. Seeing young children at stage door waiting and wanting you to sign their programs after shows meant the world. Knowing you possibly started a spark in them to start dancing feels very special.

Some causes are impossible to say no to.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael and Anna Freedman, Sophie Johnson and the entire Michael Freedman Racing team for once again supporting Tour d’Horse 2026 and KIDS Foundation.

As Michael said from the very beginning, “It’s a fantastic cause, and we couldn’t get on board quick enough.” Three years on, that commitment continues to make a lasting difference.

In this beautiful story, Sophie reflects on what it means to ride with purpose, the incredible horses that carried Tour d’Horse, and why spending time with the children and families at the heart of the journey puts everything into perspective. With more than 40 horses taking part at one point, including Sophie riding her off the track thoroughbred Communist, their generosity and willingness was nothing short of extraordinary.

Thanks to Michael Freedman Racing and everyone who got behind the team, KIDS Foundation can continue supporting children and young people recovering from trauma and injury, and living with disabling health conditions.

Back in the saddle. Back for the kids.

A heartfelt thank you to Jo McEvoy, Demi McEvoy and the entire McEvoy Mitchell Racing team for once again supporting Tour d’Horse 2026 and KIDS Foundation.

Returning to defend your Tour d’Horse title was special, but what has meant even more is the lasting connection your family has built with the KIDS Foundation community. Inspired by the children and families at the heart of this journey, Jo brought her daughter Eliza along to volunteer at KIDS Camp during the ride, sharing in the experience beyond the saddle.

As Demi said, “Everyone says once you’re here, you’re here for life… and yes, we’re here for life.” Those words perfectly capture the spirit of Tour d’Horse and the community that continues to grow year after year.

Thanks to @gtmagazine for sharing my story and helping raise awareness of the incredible @barwonhealthfoundation as we continue to raise vital funds through @dryjuly. 🍸

It’s not always easy putting your health journey out there, especially online, but everyone has been absolutely bloody amazing, getting behind me, supporting @dryjuly and so many other great causes - so it’s worth it!

Colour has always been a big theme in my life, and the incredible nurses, doctors, caregivers and staff at @barwon_health, along with my family, friends and online community, have brought that colour into every single day.

I can’t wait to get better so I can hug the living daylights out of everyone!
