*LATE BUT TIMELY POST* The highlight of my year. This comeback was personal. In all honesty, I fell out of love with running. What was once my therapy started to feel like a chore. Life lifed, my training was inconsistent and yet, Tokyo turned out to be my best marathon to date. I ran it with my bestie, ran a new PR!, and had chosen framily there to cheer me on and experience one of thee best trips yet. I wish I could give y’all this feeling. taken in Tokyo, Japan by @nidiaa

Chicago Marathon ‘21🏅

“No marathon gets easier later. The halfway point only marks the end of the beginning."

I hit a wall on Mile 18 and struggled to maintain my spirit for a bit but then I thought to myself “girl, you’ve done this twice already. Keep Going!” This was definitely my hardest marathon to date but I’d do it again!

Super grateful for my cheer squad who pulled me through and came through with my bananas🍌, my coaches @wil_power @gmanruns & @mrs._wilpower_ who have supported me in my training these last few months and my badass teammates who killed it on the road this weekend🔥

On to the next one⭐️⭐️⭐️
