Ok so what exactly do I do?

Well, a little bit of everything! My goal is to help indie authors succeed. I'm the one who will answer those emails, schedule those posts, set up that newsletter, and any of the other necessary tasks that are involved, so you can focus more on writing the story and making it the best it can be.
I'm here to help you plain and simple.

I also understand not everyone needs or can afford a PA full time.
Sometimes you just need a social media break. Sometimes you have a book release, but you also have a full time job and don't have the extra time to focus on promoting your book.
Sometimes you just don't want to deal with the extra.

I get it. That's where I come in. I am here to help make your life easier in all the ways I can.

Time for a lore drop 🙃
Today, 10/6 was my dad's birthday.
It's always an interesting day and not one I can always plan for, because I never know how I'm going to feel.
My dad was murdered 16 years ago on 6/4/2010, 4 months and 6 days before his 40th birthday. (4 is a very important number to me so it stands out more than most)
Obviously that very much changed mine & my family's lives.
Every June & October are a toss up of feelings.
If you've dealt with grief, you know that anniversaries and birthdays can either be amazing days or absolute hell.
Today was a good one.
I got to just spend it relaxing & with my son, and I know one of my dad's favorite things was to spend time with us & give us new experiences.
Fun fact, I'm technically named after both of my parents.
Wanika--->Wa--->Walter. (Although if you ask my great aunt she'll say I should've been WALnika to make it even 😂)
He wasn't the greatest dad or husband but he was who I had and I'm constantly so mad & sad that he never got to meet his grandkids who I know, he would've spoiled 1000 x's worse than we already do now 😂.
The older I get, the more I see I'm like him...which is both good and bad 😂(where y'all think I get my attitude & slick mouth from 😏)but regardless I'm still proud to be his kid with the sickest nickname (Kiana Kick Yo Ass 😈)

I absolutely love when books have different covers depending on where you got them. This is the Bookstore exclusive edition of Wild Darlin by the absolutely wonderful @amyoliveira.author . The way I LOVED this book, not only because the story was deep and heartfelt and all the things you want in an Omegaverse story, but also because Amy gave parts of herself to Veda & you can feel the hurt and struggle but also the happiness too. I'm deeply invested in The Lost Omegas universe Amy's created as I just finished Indigo, her latest release and I need more. More prickly, not your normal sunshine FMC omegas who are still deserving of love and happiness!

@coversnobbox NEVER FAILS. Their books are always AMAZING! I got mine the other day and am honestly in shock at how gorgeous it is. Plus I love the bookmarks that are catered to the book and the note they include in every box about how they chose the specific artwork. I have several books from them and each is more beautiful than the last! I cannot wait to dive into this one, and because it's @natashabishopwrites

A perfect relaxing night after what has been....A DAY. My kiddo might be getting sick, after starting school a week late cause of the damage from the storms and only being there 2 day& found out a LOT about a certain grifter and I am sad and shocked and appalled and also so very fucking angry on my friends behalf. But I did FINALLY find a pack of the Potion Pack by Alani Nu, found some cute shirts for work, and of course I get to finish this book that work got in the way of me reading. I LOVE reading @k.ellemorrisonauthor , the way she writes dark characters you'd promptly drop them drawers for....is a talent in and of itself! 😂😂😂 Go read her version of The Covenant of you haven't already!!

How do you know when a book series is a part of you and not just books?
When you see something that reminds you of it and instantly have to have it.
I already have a planner for this year but when i saw this I knew i needed.
@triciaomalleyauthor has many series, but the one that introduced me to her is the Enchanted Highlands series.
It’s officially a 10 book series (though i consider it to be 11) and it changed my life.
This series embedded itself in my heart with book 1. The cover is Pink, which is my favorite color and the story was so fun and enchanting. The entire series centers around women finding themselves, their inner magick, the love they deserve, and the family who deserves them….plus completing a magical order to protect their tiny town in Scotland. These books have been my go to when I need a refresh between a lot of the darker things I read, the books that I invest a lot of emotions into or are just heavy in general. They make me so happy, they lift me up, make me a little bit hopeful and definitely make me want to move to Scotland yesterday! The last book in the series released earlier this year and….i haven’t read it because i am not ready to let it go tbh lol.

Ive talked about this series several times but I LOVE it and her SO much!. Tricia is also the sweetest person with the coolest life! Her newsletters are always full of gorgeous pictures and cool travel info! If yoúve never read Tricia I absolutely recommend checking her out! All of her series are fun and whimsical and feature badass FMCS who learn that they are more powerful than people and they themselves think!

I was showing my niece my books earlier and told her all the ones on this shelf specifically are my friends. She went 😱 and it was a nice reminder of how cool my friends are..I could quite literally NEVER write a book..I don't have the brain power or want to.But y'all did. You took that idea festering in your brain, finally put it down, reworked it 7037384 times, had it edited, then put it out in the world for people to ingest....AND YOU ALL DID IT MORE THAN ONCE! I'm constantly in awe of authors, especially those I hold close to my heart.

(This is not my only friend shelf, it's just the one with the most of my friends on it. The rest are spread throughout shelves in different ways. )
