This choreography explores the universal connection that unites all life. It reflects the invisible threads between people, nature, time, and the world around us. Through movement, it reveals how every action, emotion, and encounter creates ripples that shape our shared human experience. The piece invites the audience to recognize that we are not separate from one another or from our surroundings—we are part of the same living rhythm, connected through love, struggle, growth, and the energy that flows through all existence.

I can’t thank her enough, but thank you @cielo_chavez_ for hosting another wonderful event filled with love, support and happiness. You are a gem and to have you one of my closest friends is a blessing, I can’t imagine how life is like without you in it. You continue to inspire me and you have been there through all the ups and many many downs and your unwavering support and love means more to me than words can express. Here is to a lifetime of friendship. Love you so much 💗

My dancers- thank you for being part of this project. It was rough I’m not gonna lie. Having rehearsal outside during the crazy heatwave, dealing with rude people bc the music was too loud in the parking lot, and the continuous noise of the airplane going above us. I have received so many compliments from this work and it’s because of you lovely ladies. Thank you for being honest and patient to me to let me know if certain movements weren’t working and to add your own voice in this movement. I’m so happy I get to dance with you all again and I know we’ll dance together again in the future. by @nikk.dean

Well well wellllllll this was a very spontaneous collab and ended up as one of the most fun i've had!! When Nikk & I agreed to this song, i was wondering what the hell to come up with and what was I feeling when listening to this. Since I don't typically do these typa songs, I went into it with openness and we got right into cookin! Everything fell in the right spot and we were geeked creating it aaaaand that to me is truly splendid!! Don't let the vampires see that neck of yours during sp00ky season 🧛🏽‍♂️🧛🏻‍♀️ blehhh be BLEEEEEHHH

First and foremost, thank you @cielo_chavez_ for hosting this event and giving me the opportunity to showcase my work. I’m especially grateful for your friendship—you’re one of the people who continually inspire me to grow and become the best version of myself.

My fellow dancers- @claireeconwell @emilydeskin2317 @makayla.sethi @megan_frain Thank you, lovely ladies, for giving me your time, energy, and patience throughout my learning process. For this piece, I wanted to take a different approach—creating movement based on how I was feeling in the moment during rehearsals, and letting your presence and energy inspire the choreography. I’m so grateful to have shared this creative journey with you all. :)

Lastly, Arigato @emmangination_studios @3mm4n for the beautiful video, taking the time to capture this beautiful event. Thank you isn’t even enough for how much time and effort you have put into, capturing not only this but moments of life when we hang out with other friends too.

With this project—Needle in the Haystack—I was inspired by how dance can be both simple and complex. I find it beautiful to witness and enjoy movement expressed through different bodies. There’s something powerful in seeing how each person brings their own unique qualities to the same choreography.
