In the spirit of reminiscing, I want to *finally* post some of the shots from last year’s In the Light showcase by the immensely talented @k1nglenz. I also want to thank @moc.arte for providing photos for last year’s event as well. Looking at the lineup for this year I can’t help but feel so thankful and so excited for all of the talent that will be hitting the stage next week. I am truly thankful to every single person choreographing, performing, attending. It truly means the world to me. 🌻

To commemorate the honor of dancing on this wonderful stage, the first time performing on stage in heels, and the first time dancing on this particular stage with my girls @maelinj and @nikk.dean (special shout out to the wonderfully talented @autumnaticsupersonic as well)

@lizahaldo I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your genius. You are a true inspiration to me as an artist, a performer, and a leader.

SDSU dance students at Play Studio.
I love dance even when I hate it. The etymology of “passion” is from the Latin word passio, meaning to suffer or endure. It’s easy to be passionate for something when it’s easy and when it’s fun, but to stick through it when it physically and mentally feels impossible is indisputable passion. I see the love and passion all of these movers have for dance, they wouldn’t be here without it. Just grateful to be a part of their journey. Keep an eye out for them. Missing @odessauno
Thank you @theironleung for filming and as always @_janellemur_ for the support and space, even if we just see each other in between our classes grateful for all you do .

Well well wellllllll this was a very spontaneous collab and ended up as one of the most fun i've had!! When Nikk & I agreed to this song, i was wondering what the hell to come up with and what was I feeling when listening to this. Since I don't typically do these typa songs, I went into it with openness and we got right into cookin! Everything fell in the right spot and we were geeked creating it aaaaand that to me is truly splendid!! Don't let the vampires see that neck of yours during sp00ky season 🧛🏽‍♂️🧛🏻‍♀️ blehhh be BLEEEEEHHH

In the Light Showcase✨

Thank you @cielo_chavez_ for hosting an amazing showcase and for giving me the opportunity to create a project of my own. All the love to my friends for not only being down but investing their energy and commitment to absolutely kill this piece. It turned out so much better than I thought and I’m eternally grateful🫶🏼 Thank you @moc.arte and @k1nglenz for the sick ass pictures!
