🥚The lesson is simple. Cook your eggs on a low to medium heat. Especially scrambled eggs. If you cook them too hot the proteins seize up resulting in a rubbery egg. #HowNOTtocook
.
🍳Love a sunny side up or over easy egg with crispy edges?
-Here's how to do it: Go ahead and crank the heat all the way to medium high. Use extra oil in your pan and immediately start to baste the top of the egg with the oil to gently cook the top side.
-Here’s why it works: The bottom of your egg will be crispy and a little tough after being exposed to that high heat but since you basted the top of the egg with the oil it will still have a soft and luscious texture. The top of the egg was never exposed to the same high heat as the bottom. The two textures balance each other out.

One of the truly special parts of visiting Portugal is being surrounded by so much water AND being able to explore it by boat. Whether it’s a private charter or a water tour, simply being on the water helps me slow down and be present for those memory making moments of traveling. @tempovip_dmc helped set up all of our amazing experiences on this @visitportugal trip and I can not recommend them enough. by @nikkidinki

I learned two things shopping in Portugal that I didn’t realize.
1- Because there is tremendous amount of craftsmanship and talent, many luxury brands from other countries, have their products made in Portugal. This talent is seen all throughout the country whether you are shopping in Larger stores, boutique shops, or artisan markets.
2- The artisan markets are filled with the artist and their art. Nothing is imported in and many things are created by up cycling. Like nativities made of found natural elements, statues of paper mache or jewelry made from the cast off nespresso pods (that one was incredible!)
All of this made the shopping so very fun and the items so very special. I fully know that every time I wear my overalls, or faux fur coat or earrings I will remember and appreciate the talent! by @nikkidinki

Neither of us has ever been to Portugal and there is just nothing like exploring a new place with you best friend. So often the “nice” or “big” vacations are saved for our partners, but once in a while you just need an all out lux girls trip! We’ve seen so much but could still explore for another week so we can’t wait to @visitportugal again. by @nikkidinki

Some meals are unforgettable, the kitchen seat experience @vilafozhotel is one of them. The restaurant is in a stunning manor that was transformed into a hotel in 2019. If you are planning a trip to Portugal, this is a must! by @nikkidinki
