This collection began with a brief encounter with a Turkmen woman. It then led me to a suitcase full of ideas for designing clothes. And finally, to a pop-up in New York that perhaps would never have happened without these people.

"Clara Memoriam" about her story 🦏❤️

This is the story of a rhinoceros called miss Clara who lived in the 17th century and inspired many painters and aristocrats across Europe.
Many artworks were created about her.
Travel during that time was rare, difficult and definitely not with an exotic animal. Clara, who came from the East, was an unusual and almost never seen animal.

Clara’s life and story truly fascinated me, and over time it grew into this body of work;
a collection of animation, a painting, and clothing pieces that you see in these posts.

Follow her story...
