Please join me TONIGHT (10/17 from 5-7pm) for the opening reception of ARTIFACTS at 6 Bridges Gallery in Maynard, (MA) where I will be showing this mini-installation.

Altar of Sacred Memories:
This installation has been created to commemorate and celebrate those memories and stories that have ‘transformed’ us as individuals, and to honor those moments in life that are now past. The prints contain family memorabilia, these everyday objects impart a new meaning to us now that these individuals are mostly gone, or in separate continents.

Please stop by & visit my new assemblages 'The Puja Box Series' at the opening of the exhibition Myth-to-Ritual at Gallery 263 this friday 9/18, 6–8 pm. This fantastic tiny gallery located close to Central Square, is unique + eclectic, and I am thrilled to be part of this show :)

The Puja Box Series celebrates inter-generational influence through memorabilia and personal objects: that come together today to honor our ancestors, our history, our community. It is through the resurrection of this traditional family ‘altar’ or ‘puja room/box’ that I seek to explore the meaning of belonging, identity, community, and family as a cross-cultural visual storyteller.
