When we landed in Albania we had no idea what to expect, what to do or where to go. After figuring out how to withdraw money and find a car rental at the airport we headed to Berat.

There’s something I find special about mountain cities with old historic architecture where I can just walk and experience life at a pace that feels human.

The unexpected positives of Albania were that coffee was great. Food excellent. And the ice cream was 10/10 😭 more on that later taken in Berat, Albania by @nimbusnikko
