Wanneer vrouwen samenkomen vanuit dezelfde intentie, ontstaat er iets wat je niet altijd kunt uitleggen… maar wel kunt voelen. ✨

A deep connection.
A shared energy.
A reminder of who we truly are.

When we meet from a place of awareness, trust, and spirituality, space is created to feel, to grow, and to be truly present.

We don’t have to prove anything.
We don’t have to make ourselves smaller.
We are allowed to see, support, and empower one another.

Because the more women dare to live from their hearts, the more awareness is created.
And the more awareness arises, the more there is room for change.

The world is ready for it. 🌍✨
Ready for more connection.
More softness.
More awareness.
More women who rise in their own power and bring others with them in this movement.

Connected through intention.
Nourished by spirituality.
Strengthened by one another.

Thank you, @antoncorbijn4real for capturing this beautiful moment 📸

Nimi darling, you always said and wrote. I can hear your voice Thierry my love. So many funny Thierryisms that would keep us laughing while working. When going through my photos on insta I would say the designer I’m photographed in the most would be @thierrycolsonparis. I have such a love for his dresses. I feel special and different in them and have not stopped wearing them since the day I discovered them. I worked with Thierry on one of his first fall collections. We both had a lot to share during the process. We also worked together on his romantic night wear collections, that we jokingly called romantic nightmare due to spell correct always insisting on that word and it stuck. I have not stopped remembering the endless moments together, our search for the lady Di sweater which ended in more laughter. And both of us always looking for unique fabrics, buttons, buckles and so on. When I decided to step away from fashion we saw each other much less but always stayed in touch and I never stopped loving and wearing his clothes and always promoting them wherever I could. I shall share more photos on my stories as there were just way too many to choose from. Farewell my dear friend and collaborator. I am so honoured to have known you and to have had the opportunity to work with you. You were truly one of a kind. @thierrycolsonparis by @nimicorbijn

We have been facing extreme fear with Lulu. It’s been such a learning process giving her the space to find her confidence again while gently pushing her. I’ve learned that my expectations are not necessarily the timeline Lulu is on. I have really worked on building more strength in our communication and connection. I have watched her improve tremendously. And on her own time. She still is moving at her own pace. And that is ok. We will get there when she is open to making the shift. 🐾🐶🫶🏾🪶🤎 by @nimicorbijn

The festive season has begon. It’s a wonderful time to spend with your loved ones while the western world really seems to slow down and is a great moment for reflection. As the new Gregorian calendar year approaches, it’s brings with it New Year’s Eve and the sounding of fireworks. I say this with no judgement at all but to invite everyone to think about all our animal friends who experience deep trauma from this night. Some animals never recover and are permanently scarred from it or even worse. It is also very damaging to nature and let’s not forget the humans who fire them off. I shall be holding space that night for all animals in distress and invite all who feel inclined to join me. For those of you at home with your animals there are many modalities that can support your animal in need, like calming music, tuning forks, essential oils (though it’s really important to ask a therapist for help in using them) massage, healing crystals or whatever can give your animal some relief. Lulu loves it when I sing to her for example. In particular the song accompanying this post. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday. With love ♥️🐾🪶 by @nimicorbijn

Fresh food is where it’s at for me. The constant discussion of raw vs cooked is unfortunate. I like to make it as diverse as possible. And choose according to the time of year and where my animal is at. I love feeding on this platter by @minepetplatter it’s not just a slow feeder but based on how a dog would eat naturally. It also allows for the animal to select in what order it would like to eat giving it the freedom to pick and choose as it likes. And it’s made of plant cellulose not plastic!! There are add ons that I put on the side which she can take or not as needed. Animals are very intuitive and good at understanding their needs. Self selection helps alleviate stress. by @nimicorbijn

I recently did a mini course by Dr Ava Frick on poor fitting harnesses and the exact placement of the clips. We were shown how different harness styles affect body function and were shown examples of poor and good fits. I recently was introduced to this company @cooper.quint where I finally found the perfect harnesses. The ethos of this company fits me perfectly. They use non toxic dyes and are a small independent business. Also they will fully customise the harness to your needs. It has been a game changer for us. It has been like Cinderellas slipper trying to find the right one, that looks good (very important) but is functional (even more important) and comfortable for my animal (most important) and they even have lovely sustainable items for your animal outside of collars, harnesses and leashes. by @nimicorbijn

Showing our animals we are there for them. Truly listening and communicating with them is so valuable. When out with the dog the phone always stays in my bag and we spend time bonding. It’s always a precious moment and adds value to both our lives 🐾🫶🏾🪶 by @nimicorbijn

Well over a year ago Lulu ended up in the hospital at 4 months of age. It was very scary and we almost lost her. We were told that most likely she had a deformity called PRAA and would need a very invasive surgery with long recovery. I brought her home from the hospital with a box to feed her from, some awful liquid canned food and a large syringe. I immediately started developing recipes for her and just trying to strengthen and heal her. I felt very alone in trying to figure it all out but we did it and I didn’t go forward with the surgery. Today she is well and thriving. And all of this brought me to my new path of holistic animal healing. Behind all life’s challenges are gifts if we allow ourselves to see them. I really would have loved some support outside of veterinary care as I knew that I wanted to try a different path of healing and so now I can start to offer that to animals in need. I have quite a bit of studying ahead of me but already an arsenal of knowledge. #forevergrateful by @nimicorbijn
