For Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg er Magasins rige historie også en del af hendes egen familiehistorie. Det er nemlig hendes tipoldefar Emil Vett, der grundlagde Magasin i 1868, og i dag er Nina med til at føre arven videre som bestyrelsesmedlem i Wessel & Vett fonden, der blandt andet driver Magasin Museum og værner om mere end 150 års dansk mode- og kulturhistorie.

It was my great great grandfather who co-founded @magasindunord so when the department store asked if I wanted to join their (Y)OUR HOUSE campaign I of course said yes. Magasin du Nord a department store founded in 1868 and still based on core values like entrepreneurship, design, innovation and business acumen. Back at @artbasel enjoying works by Helen Frankenthaler. American abstract expressionist painter. She was a major contributor to the history of postwar American painting. Having exhibited her work for over six decades (early 1950s until 2011), she spanned several generations of abstract painters while continuing to produce vital and ever-changing new work.

Thank you @louisianamuseum thank you Anders Kold for a fabulous curator led introduction to the Lucian Freud exhibition “Everything is a Portrait” at Louisiana Museum.

Lucian Freud (1922–2011) is widely regarded as one of the greatest figurative artists of the 20th century, celebrated for his raw, powerful portraits and nudes. His masterful technique and lifelong dedication to portraiture continue to define his legacy.

Biotech philanthropists Claus and Bente Christiansen have transformed Gl. Holtegaard into one of Denmark’s most exciting new cultural destinations. Through their foundation, Den Danske Forskningsfond, the historic Baroque estate was saved from closure and carefully restored for a new chapter in contemporary art.
Gl. Holtegaard returns as a remarkable kunsthal with a major exhibition by Danish artist Tal R, while the iconic Baroque gardens have been recreated and reopened to the public.

The couple behind Nordic Bioscience continue to invest millions each year into supporting art and culture in the local community — a rare and inspiring commitment to preserving both heritage and contemporary creativity.

The @venice.art.biennale moved me once again..
My top experiences: the Japanese, Austrian & Indian Pavilions at Giardini and Arsenale and of course Peggy Guggenheim. But foremost the powerful Michael Armitage exhibition at Palazzo Grassi.

The 7th time traveling here with dear art friends, and Venice showed herself from her most beautiful side ☀️
