Snowboarding trips with a toddler hits differently.

First lifts, unlimited hours on the hill, straight to the aprés bar is a distant memory. Instead, it’s slow starts, tantrums, sticky hot chocolate hands and making sure you remember to bring 70 individual items out each day (tiny sunglasses? sticker book? wet wipes?)

But holy smoke, watching your kid slide down the bunny slope is peak joy. And sledging even when your toddler isn’t fussed. Pausing to watch the gondola for 15 solid minutes. Stomping in muddy puddles. And letting them run riot outside your new favourite apres bar, which has colouring pens and a decent pint. New era with new highlights.

But, also mega grateful for aunties/uncles/grandparents for looking after Z while we got to ride and pretend like we were young and free again! 🙏 taken in Morzine by @ninazietman
