Emi’s cherished gallerina days.

She wore many hats: Chief Happiness Officer, Assistant Studio Manager, and occasionally curator (sniffing out the artworks she liked best).

She loved everyone who walked through the doors of @sun.contemporary, and of course, the entire Sun team.

We’ll miss having our little gallerina here with us. by @nindynoto

Sweet Emi, forever in my heart.

Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for walking beside me for these past 8 years.

Emi was a light in my life and an anchor in an ever-changing world. Such a special, sensitive, beautiful little soul, she felt everything with me.

Some of you may have known her, felt her sweetness, and fallen in love with her too. She had a way of making everyone feel special. And she loved every person she met, in her own gentle way.

What we shared was a true heart-to-heart connection, something beyond words. A bond that has changed my life and one that I will carry with me.

I love you always, my sweet girl.
I miss you dearly already 🤍 by @nindynoto

This year I made a slight pivot in my creative life, from music into interior design, and this past weekend I got to celebrate both worlds at once, playing at @jia.curated.

I hadn’t played a set publicly since March, so it felt lovely to play for my new design community, who’ve welcomed me so warmly. I also got to curate a special 8-hour playlist that was played throughout the event.

In my DJ work I create soundscapes for spaces; in my design work I compose physical spaces. Turns out there’s a bridge between the two.

Thank you to the JIA Curated team for always thinking of me. Congrats for yet another incredible event!
