I love how we can do art together across videocalls. I love making coffee with you and letting you smell some😉🤫.

I’m grateful to God for having blessed me with some of the best male figures in my life, some in family, more as friends and as mentors. And I’m still learning how let them in. But it’s time we question what is wrong. It is time we start a conversation.

How is it, that the way I choose to live, taking my own decisions, meeting my friends at my own will and working on the hours that I need to are somehow the very things that upset you, but if you think about it, it’s a man’s usual life. Life has humbled me enough to not ask for equality in every aspect. But why shall a woman have to be answerable for the very things that are very normal for a man. Is it truly for her “safety” you ask? Or it is control that you seek.

PS. If this little girl can love me despite me not being by her side, I know I’m in the right. ♥️

Love for love, how do you ever rationalise that?

Every Valentine’s Day, I sing to myself, and to you all, because I love love. The kind of love that reminds me of the tiny umbrella and puppets. The kind of love that that makes my heart skip a beat but also the kind of love that brings me peace. The kind of love that makes me stay up all night, but also the kind of love that sips with coffee with me, silently, just being there.
The kind of love that’s not conditional, kind of love that doesn’t scare me. The kind of love that stays. ♥️
