I finally got around to uploading the laurels!

When writing this comedy, I most certainly did not anticipate winning any of these festivals, given that this was my very first project as a new writer & filmmaker. It was exciting and nerve-wracking as I was learning on the job alongside a great cast and crew, and as the saying goes, “everyone started somewhere.”

And now I just need someone to develop this 😁

In December 2024, I had a God encounter in which his call for me was to fully surrender something I had been questioning that no longer felt right. And in response to my “YES,” I chose to get baptized again, which has since been the best decision I made :)

To @oasisla thank you for making me feel at home 🙌🏽 and @boldapprl for my T shirt! ❤️

And to my friends who prayed for me. God is faithful 🙏🏾❤️ by @nitamistryofficial

Black and white, as neither one of us could take a great picture in the dark 🫢 This is the wonderful Deidre Evans-Pritchard, from last night as we sat drinking wine on the patio of her Hollywood home. Deidre is the Executive Director and programmer of @dcindiefilmfestival, where my web series screened last year, and won yay! 🎉But one of the things I love about her is that she doesn’t forget any of the filmmakers and their work, and even a year later, she’s following up with an invitation of wine and nibbles at her home :) The DC independent film festival was, in fact, one of my favorites, as it also included a week of workshops and panels for filmmakers, making it more than just a screening. I highly recommend this festival for anyone submitting this year. #filmmakers, #producers #writers #filmmakercatchup #dcindependentfilmfestival #hollywood #losangelas taken in Hollywood - Los Angeles by @nitamistryofficial

Just back from two incredible events in Atlanta via @intotalitypod and @2819church, (and aside from documenting my journey) I honestly cannot put into words what an incredible weekend it was to be amongst twenty thousand plus people from all over the United States and the world, gathering for the same purpose. It was empowering, deeply fulfilling, and has left me all the more expectant to see the move of God as we go forward 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️ #access #2819church taken in Atlanta, GA by @nitamistryofficial
