I finally got around to uploading the laurels!

When writing this comedy, I most certainly did not anticipate winning any of these festivals, given that this was my very first project as a new writer & filmmaker. It was exciting and nerve-wracking as I was learning on the job alongside a great cast and crew, and as the saying goes, “everyone started somewhere.”

And now I just need someone to develop this 😁

While writing this web series, there were many moments of laughter, and my one hope was that the jokes would translate, especially with some of my characters’ actions deliberately heightened and it therefore, being broad comedy.

Unfortunately, I was unable to attend this festival screening, but the feedback was that once again there was an all round laughter from the audience. A comedy writer’s dream 🙏🏾 And so, to receive another audience award not only made me smile but all the more grateful to god for the gift of screen writing 🙌🏽❤️ and to Peter and Jon @marinadelreyff thank you for selecting and screening @frombuckinghampalace 🙏🏾
