✈️ FLEX goes to AFRICA 🇹🇿

"Sport has the power to change the world."
-Nelson Mandela

Flex staff Tim, Huntleigh, Izaiah, and Dr. J were given the opportunity to travel to Tanzania to share how sport can be used for gender empowerment.

It has been the experience of a lifetime to learn from so many impactful youth programs here in Arusha.

We are truly seeing the power of sport in action and can't wait to use it with our Flex programs back home 💪🏽

#MondayMotivation! ✨

Earlier this year, Project Flex was given it’s own segment on CBS News! It was super cool to see the hard work and the dedication of Dr. J, Dr. Wahl, and all of our graduate assistants come to fruition and be acknowledged on such a large scale!

For all of us at Project Flex, the youth that we get to work with are some of our biggest motivators. To hear their firsthand accounts of just how important Project Flex has been for them means more to us than we can even express. And being able to impact even just one youth is motivation for us to continue what we do every day! 🫂

What is something that motivates you? Let us know in the comments! 👀 by @niuprojectflex

What does Project FLEX mean to you?

We asked our FLEX family to answer one simple question and everybody had their own reason. Different answers, but the same mission.
