Over on Patreon I asked @candicekovar_ to join me in conversation about energetic maintenance for children and what unfolded was even better!

Candice generously shares her colorful journey of moving beyond deep-rooted fears and connecting to her intuition and wide landscape of guidance through birthing her three children. Weaved into story time are our musings on energetic maintenance for children.
.
This convo is ultimately about life themes of creativity and healing - of building trust in your intuition, following inner guidance, and engaging in playful call and response synchronicity with the external.

And we are all parenting and/or re-parenting our inner child so the dialogue on energetic maintenance may spark insight on how to support yourself and where you may have developed habits that aren’t really serving you (for example allowing energy that you don’t want in your sphere out of a social obligation that was modeled really early in life)

Register now for the workshop on June 27th 12p ET

Summery of project:
1. Identify/map a pathway or flight pattern in your daily life. We suggest this is in your home or another space you have a high degree of control over.
2. Now choose an area or spot within that path to place items, or sensory experiences that you are curious or excited by. Feel free to change it up, curate, edit over the next two weeks.

“Play and Preciousness: an 8 week online creative development immersion“ application deadline is this week - March 19th!
.
Many of the exercises and prompts are to practice shifting into this receptive space… to recognize when you have hit a border of “I don’t know”, to notice what comes up for you, and to move beyond it. These are obviously low stakes scenarios but engaging with awareness, intention in a playful community environment can help build the capacity to respond to scenarios out in the world from a space that’s more true to you than your habitual reactions.

@vivian_beer and I are co-hosting “Play and Preciousness: an 8 week online creative development immersion”

It’s a two-part series of invitations to illuminate your unique creative process in a collaborative environment. The synergy of a cohort supports us in shedding light on blindspots and anchoring in realizations as they are witnessed. So much of our creative capacity is unconscious. By committing to this immersive exploration, you are committing to nurturing and developing your capacity and bringing more conscious awareness to it.

Month one focuses on the expansive nature of “Play” through embodiment practices and creative exercises to engage in a wide range of mediums activating different senses.

Month two focuses on the refinement process of “Preciousness”: what is worth materializing? How do you shift from an expansive lens to a narrow focus to bring something into form?

Overall the creative process is not a linear one! Join us as we explore: How does one weave and balance play and preciousness? We will come together every Sunday for an immersive experience and digest individually throughout the week.
