BranD No.83 Visual Narrative Tool BranD No.83, featuring some of my past screen-printing and risograph works, along with a few interviews. Thanks a lot @brandmagazine.hk ! 📖 From BranD ↓ Exploring the Possibilities of Visual Narrative In an era when AI can design efficiently, the human pursuit of sensory experience, such as texture and tactility, has become more intense than ever. Exploring a unique visual language has thus become a crucial task for designers. Narrative logic serves as a guide. How to build visual storytelling logic? How can narratives be created through tangible and intangible elements? How to tell a story through a book? With the theme of "Visual Narrative Tool," BranD 83 showcases the narrative approaches of designers around the world and across disciplines. BranD 83 is composed of three independent booklets, accompanied by a "Universal Narrative Toolbox," inviting readers to create their own narrative possibilities. Three Dimensions of Narrative BranD 83 consists of three booklets. In Part A, BranD emphasizes the visualization of sensory experiences, showcasing how designers construct narratives through distinctive sensory elements and scenes. Part B approaches from the perspectives of the "tangible" and the "intangible," demonstrating how to create concrete forms and how to enrich narratives with different materials. In Part C, books are regarded as theaters, where the texture of paper, the smell of ink, and the binding all take on different roles on the stages. by @nlieechi

Pages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair 2026 @fukuokaartbookfair 5.29–31の三日間、太宰府天満宮で開催されるPages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair 2026に出展いたします。今年も余香殿におります！皆さまにお会いできるのを楽しみにしております～ See you next week at Pages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair 2026! 📖🌱 ———————————— ⬇️ From Pages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair 5月29日（金）から31日（日）の3日間にわたり、太宰府天満宮にて第三回 Pages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair を開催いたします。 Pagesでは、独自の出版活動を行う約100組の出版社、アーティスト、デザイナーが国内外から集結します。今年は、シンガポールのデザインユニット Atelier HOKO による、「本を読む」という行為を改めて問いかける展示「BOOK?」、2025年のBookBook Festival(ソウル)に参加したアジア各地のインディペンデント出版社によるアートブックやZINEを紹介する「BookBook Reading Room by Common Inprint」をはじめ、そのほかトーク、ワークショップ、ライブパフォーマンスなど、さまざまなプログラムをご用意しています。 また、福岡の書店、ギャラリー、ショップ、飲食店と連動する企画「フレンズ」も開催します。アートブックだけでなく、ローカルのアート、カルチャー、音楽、食といった魅力にも触れていただける機会となれば幸いです。 本をひらくことから生まれる小さな対話が、新たな文化やコミュニティへと広がっていくことを願っています。 5月29日（金）12:00-17:00 5月30日（土）- 31日（日）10:00-17:00 太宰府天満宮［文書館／余香殿］ 入場料 一般 1,000円／学生 500円／小学生以下無料 The third edition of Pages | Fukuoka Art Book Fair will be held over three days, from Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Around 100 publishers, artists, and designers engaged in independent publishing practices will gather from Japan and abroad. This year’s program features “BOOK?”, an exhibition by the Singapore-based design unit Atelier HOKO that reexamines what it means to read a book. It also includes the “BookBook Reading Room by Common Imprint,” showcasing art books and zines donated by independent publishers across Asia who participated in the 2025 BookBook Festival (Seoul), along with a range of talks, workshops, and live performances. We will also present “Friends,” a program developed in collaboration with bookstores, galleries, shops, and restaurants in Fukuoka. We hope this initiative offers visitors an opportunity to experience not only art books, but also the richness of local art, culture, music, and food. 当我以为我正在观看 私が見ていると思うとき・When I Think I’m Watching @_yukiyoko_ @cusp.hangzhou 杭州・cuspdotで開催される幸洋子さんの個展「私が見ていると思うとき」のポスターをデザインさせていただきました。 幸洋子さんが制作の際にさまざまな素材や技法を用いる手法に着目し、色鉛筆、マーカー、パステル、リボンなど異なる素材を使い、タイトルの文字をそれぞれ作ってみました。手作業の痕跡と素材の重なりによって、画面により豊かな視覚表現を生み出そうとしています。 Key visual design for Yoko Yuki’s solo exhibition ‘When I Think I’m Watching’ at cuspdot, Hangzhou. Focusing on Yoko Yuki’s approach of working with a variety of materials and techniques, the title typography was composed using different media such as colored pencils, markers, pastels, and ribbons.
