Another season down. And more enormous amounts of lessons, encouragement, love and support. I’m happy that I can express my myself through my art. I’m even more happy that you all care so deeply. Now that I have some signal. 📶

I want to thank you all for coming to my showing of “Enough Time to Provide”. The turn out was better than I ever could hope. Illustrating no matter what troubled times we are in, we cannot forget to take care of our own. I want to thank @fristartmuseum and @shaun.giles for having me. Three years ago, I wondered if my art was ever good enough to get your attention. Now I no longer wonder.

One moment I’m at the Frist, the next I’m on a plane. Can’t wait to show you the art the Dominican Republic has in store. 🇩🇴🌴🎨

Thank you @artroundtennessee for letting me step out of my comfort zone in this year’s Art Prowl. This was such a gamble for me but it payed off 10 fold. It allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people. They gave me so much support and encouragement. We were so close to selling out!!! Now I have the confidence to attend other events to showcase and sell my art. Thanks,

UNTIED SHOES

A father, so proud his son finally learned how to tie his shoes. So much so he jumped for Jesus and began hollering and crying out of joy. Just one of the many lessons he taught in such a short time he was on this earth. Since that day, from the challenges this six year old faced to now, in his father’s absence, the boy still sometimes forgets how to tie his shoes.

There’s a difference between moving forward and moving on. It takes a lot of courage to put both shoes on and keep on going. That’s how the world goes around. We have to. Otherwise, there’d be a whole lot of people tripping over their laces.
