Definitely one of my most challenging pieces to date but now in my top 3 favorites. The sweatshirts and smile almost took me out but we made it 🤣☺️

Father’s Day is always an interesting one for me having lost my own dad so young. But art is my way of expressing what is often difficult to put into words. So this piece seemed fitting for a belated Father’s Day post…🤍

This piece is titled “For Nate”.

For many, Father’s Day is a day not just to celebrate, but also to commemorate the fathers who leave behind more than memories—they leave behind pieces of themselves in the people they love.

Making this piece was a push for me because I never had the pleasure of meeting Nathaniel “Nate” Sr. However in knowing his son, @nlwheelerii , it’s easy to see Sr.’s spirit existing alive and well inside you.

It’s hard to capture someone’s kindness, bravery, compassion, and goodness in a single image but they say a picture is worth a thousand words. And the biggest word here is “love”. The unbreakable love between a Father and his son.

And if he were here today, I believe he’d look at the man you are becoming—with your strength, your heart, your integrity, and your faith—and be so incredibly proud of you.

Everything is everything…

Happy Belated Father’s Day to all the Dads. ✨🎨💕
