Wild to thing that in January we were just getting into this and now after our 4th monthly simulation we dropped 7 additional minutes!!! SEVEN!!!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹

So proud especially with it being solo parenting weekend. That comes extra stress & responsible! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

OFFICIALLY THE METRO’S BEST GYM/FITNESS CENTER!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Next Level Extreme Fitness has been named the Des Moines Register's 2026 Community’s Choice Awards WINNER for Best Fitness Center/Gym!

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate enough to receive several awards and recognitions, including the Des Moines Media Group People's Choice Award for Best Gym/Fitness Center just a few months ago.

When we opened our doors, our goal was never to simply create another gym. We wanted to build something different. A place where people feel welcomed, challenged, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.

To every member who has walked through our doors, trusted our program, pushed through a difficult workout, encouraged another member or helped make NLXF what it is today, THANK YOU!

Awards like this don’t belong simply to a business name. They belong to the people who make that business special.

We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.

Someday someone is going to tell my kids they are just like their dad, and I’m making it my personal responsibility to make that a compliment.

This weekend wrapped up a gauntlet of events that I got to do with so many friends and family around. As always, I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep pushing my limits and seeing the work pay off.

The early morning runs in the dark by myself get pretty boring, but I’m learning more and more that the boring work makes all the difference.

Saturday HYROX Registration is OPEN!
- Partner Workout
- Start with both partners running 600m (Double Doors to Back, then back to Double Doors)
- Do the stations in any order
- Make sure to return sled stations to original weight that they started out when you are done
- Child care starts at 7:30AM

Running in the rain isn't ideal, but neither is running after your legs are shot from pushing a sled or doing sandbag lunges, BUT we can do hard things.

Find a team of 3 and get ready to have some fun Saturday morning!

Heats start every 10 minutes beginning at 5:30AM.

Child care will be available for every heat from 7:30AM on.
