Those last 100 wall balls were BRUTAL. 😮‍💨🥵 My legs were cramping after the burpees, and every rep felt harder than the last.

But I kept going. One rep at a time. One step at a time. Until I reached that finish line. 🏁

First HYROX: 1:24:19. Next stop: Championship in November! 🔥

Construction worker. Husband. Dad. HYROX athlete.

This is just the beginning. 💪❤️

Someday someone is going to tell my kids they are just like their dad, and I’m making it my personal responsibility to make that a compliment.

This weekend wrapped up a gauntlet of events that I got to do with so many friends and family around. As always, I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep pushing my limits and seeing the work pay off.

The early morning runs in the dark by myself get pretty boring, but I’m learning more and more that the boring work makes all the difference.

Hyrox Simulation — @nlxfdesmoines
Mud Run — @wildboarchallenge
1/2 Marathon — Golden Harvest Run
Hyrox Sim — @crossfit_kota

Grateful for a body that lets me do hard things and even better people to do them with.

I’ve called this gym home for the last 8 years, so when the opportunity came up to be an official sponsor of another business like Next Level Extreme Fitness and their HYROX, contributing a donation was a no-brainer to me!

And of course, I always appreciate my friends! 🫶🏼 The best girlfriends are the ones who are always hitting me up, spreading the word, showing up, and finding ways to support my real estate business.

Here’s to strong women, strong communities, and supporting the places that feel like home! ❤️

Hired to cover NLXF's Hyrox event in Des Moines. 📸

Over 100 athletes, 8 stations, and a lot of moving parts. These photos went straight into NLXF's marketing, because content that sits in a folder doesn't help anyone. It's meant to be used.

If you're hosting an event, I'd love to help you capture it.

@nlxfdesmoines first men’s individual 58:20. WE didn’t let the rain stop us from going 30 seconds faster than we did back in August. Another good showing of the fitness we’re building on route to @hyroxworld Tampa in a month!

First solo in the books. Not my best and not what I wanted, but I did the dang thing and finally have a healthy foot! Waking up at 2 am was not to my advantage, so I know I can do better with more sleep😂Ready for more in the future!💪 My husband puts on one hell of an event, and I’m so proud of everything he pours into these sims.
