And just like that, another New Mexico State Fair is in the books. And what a Fair it was!

The rides. The food. The music. The animals. The competitions. The exhibits. The traditions. The first-timers and the families who never miss a year. Eleven days filled with the sights, sounds, flavors, and people that make the Fair feel like New Mexico.

Thank you to everyone who came out, competed, performed, exhibited, worked, volunteered, cooked, created, cheered, and helped make the 2026 Fair one to remember.

We already miss those Fair lights.

But the countdown can officially begin…

Now that the fair is sadly over, here’s a little recap of my time at the New Mexico State Fair!
The fair was a whirlwind in the absolute best way. Between judging the Green Chile Cheeseburger Contest, leading Grand Entry, carrying the American flag for the rodeo, and helping with our 2027 State Fair Royalty Contest, it was a big adventure!
One of my favorite parts was meeting so many people from all over the world. The rodeo brought people from Canada, Germany, Australia, England, and all across the United States, and I loved getting to hear their stories and share a little bit of New Mexico and rodeo with them.
This fair gave me so many new experiences, new friendships, and opportunities that I never could have imagined when I started this journey. It was busy, exciting, and so much fun all at once. I’m incredibly grateful for every late night, early morning, new face, and unforgettable moment.
The 2026 New Mexico State Fair will definitely be one I never forget. ❤️🐴🇺🇸
