Long Beach Marathon 2025

First and foremost, all glory to God for blessing me with a healthy mind and body to be able to do the things I do. It came and went just like that, first official marathon in the books and man do I have a lot to work on. Goal was sub 3:30 but finished clocking in at 3:58:23 and was stressing hard to keep it sub 4:00 those last couple miles. Started out way too hot on adrenaline through the roof so that was ambitious of me and started cramping horribly from mile 19 to the finish.
Crazy just looking back over all the moments of training I experienced to get here to this moment, that’s the hardest part about wrapping my head around this win/loss… but no excuses, back to the drawing board. It was a blast and a pleasure brother @luk5kwon it’s only up from here.

OCFA Cadet Academy ‘25 “Together We Strive”

This academy was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget, an experience that pushed me to my limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. I grew so much over this past week and am only inspired to continue pursuing this dream career of mine

I thank God first and foremost for His incredible love for me and blessing me with a healthy mind and body to do the things I do. And a special thank you to the academy cadre who dedicated their free time off shift to be there for us cadets, it wouldn’t have happened without you

Cheers to meeting new brothers and sisters and I hope to see you all on the floor one day! taken in OCFA Headquarters by @noahbartleson

21 years of life

Before the end of 2024, I made a list of physical goals, amongst other goals, for the new year. I checked off the first one the other day - running a marathon on my 21st birthday. It was the worst run of my life and in the moment felt like an eternity. I don’t know how I did it with zero training but I challenged myself and completed it! Now I just wanna keep setting personal goals by my birthday every year - making little achievements like this genuinely bring me so much joy!
God has been so good this past year of my life, blessing me with countless new experiences I never saw coming - meeting the girl of my dreams, making progress towards my future career, vacation with family in Europe, running a half and now full marathon, many new friendships and adventures with friends, and incredible growth in my faith 🫶

Run a half marathon ✅

Thank you God for blessing me with this first-time experience. Met my goal of sub 2 hours with a time of 1:40:03! Looking back to when I first started training for this thing earlier this year, none of it was easy. I couldn’t have crossed the finish line the way I did without the support of @ty_pavi , thank you brother. I’ll never forget it.
