//I love doing these "10 things that bring me joy" lists each week. Looking through my camera roll and recalling the things that filled me with joy is a wonderful way to practice gratitude and take note of how much goodness there is in my life. This is me chasing joy!

Yes, I can make these lists even when the week has also hard things, sadness, struggle and anxiety. Because we can have those things and still have joy too.

Thus far, I'm always behind in my lists. But it's OK. I'm still going to keep posting. What a fun collection this will be in a year's time.//

Want to join me in the fun?
Post your own 10 joyful things list and tag me when you do! I'd love to see your list.

✨Joy List ✨Feb 16-22, 2025
📸
1. Davy at a cat cafe. It was sweet to to fill up his animal loving heart ( even though it wasn't my favorite outing. There were soooo many cats! 😬)
2. My 2 big boys and their life long friend, their other brother, going out on a triple date with their girlfriends. I'm still in disbelief that these boys, who used to build blocks and legos, are now building bonfires at the beach with 3 of the sweetest girls around. How good is God and how fast time flies.
3. A sunset walk with Lilly. I love when she asks, "mom, can we go for a walk?"
4. An iced latte from one of my favorite coffee shops, thanks to a gift card from a follower. She called and got a gift card in my name and they had it waiting for me the next time I came in. This thoughtfulness made it one of the best coffees ever. ❤️
5. W + G heading to The Getty Museum on their 6 month anniversary. And accidentally matching 🥰
6. Home school book club discussion for "Journey to the Center of the Earth", under a beautiful oak tree.
7. J+ E, still showing up for book club when they can. And dressing the part, of course. 🥰
8. A simple, yet beautiful bouquet in my new red, enamel pitcher.
9. Lilly and one of her besties at a teen worship night they put on.
10. Daffodils for our baby in heaven.
11. And for extra fun, a video that makes me laugh because my kids are silly and I love them.

Compassionate hearts. Grateful to spend some time today with these men (+ couple other friends not pictured) who so selflessly gave their time to move, clean, and tidy things around the church campus. So so grateful for you guys!

Light run with Noah Bartleson. Absolute beast btw. Started a little fast, ended at about where we wanted to be going in, crushed even more distance than initially planned. Until next time my dude.
