We set out to facilitate a space to help creatives Engage with beauty, Express their perspectives and Encourage a community and by the grace of God I believe we started to do just that.

I’m beyond thankful for what seems like only the start of something special. I’m thankful for old friends, new friends and people who helped me shape this event into what it needed to be for our community.

Outsiders is a space for Creatives, but our goal is re-integration into the church. There’s so much peace that comes with knowing we don’t operate in silos and we are prayerful that our church communities will catch on to what God is doing in our creatives callings.

Edits from my last day in Rwanda.

I was visiting this beautiful country for a documentary project and had a free day at the end to explore the city. The genocide memorial was top of my list of things to do, and exploring the markets and side streets was a treat.

The guy in the first frame is a friend I made, named Zachee who wanted some photographs of him driving.

I loved the colors, the textures, the people who were so kind and welcoming.

Michigan native, @noahhmiller is a documentary filmmaker, MDiv student at @calvinseminary , and the founder of “Outsiders Creative,” a space design for creatives to connect and share ideas. He recently traveled to Budapest, and found himself captivated by the beauty of St. Stephen’s Basilica. Within the relics and work left behind by creatives and innovators of the past, he observes the call that we are all invited into: Make Something Beautiful.
