Larping the boards
Secondary schools track nationals/south islands. First time ever on the indoor velodrome for me and first time in about 4 months since I was on a track bike. Fair to say I had a LOT of learning experience over the 3 days on the track.

Super stoked with some of my results considering I had only learned to ride on the indoor one day beforehand. My standing 250m start was abysmal but it was an excellent way to knock out the nerves before my scratch race and my first ever ride on the track with more than 2 people. The scratch race was pretty awesome, I decided to test my luck and breakaway solo from around 10 laps to go, this went surprisingly well and I managed to put over half a lap into the field. In the end 2 riders caught me and I settled for a 3rd. Happy to also land a 3rd overall in the South Island for u19 men.

This was an awesome event and a real eye opener, I may be considering a grand lock in for track racing. Big thanks to everyone who helped and supported me, Dad for yelling at me to go faster. Big thanks to Felix and Stu for getting my bike on the right gearing and making sure it won't snap in half. Big thanks to DSP, Track Cycling Nelson and Jason for lending me equipment. Big thanks to CLM Richmond for their support, allowing me to use their awesome facilities which helped me muster a bit more power on the fixie. Cheers to Kinetrix Performance Gels for their amazing supplements.

Looking forward to the next couple of months with some gravel racing coming up and getting school over with.

Yunca Junior Tour of Southland 2026

Day 1 at the Teratonga circuit was great, laying down a solid TT landing me in 6th on GC. Later on in stage 2 during the Kermesse I managed to breakaway with 2 other riders with over 20km to go resulting in our breakaway putting 54 seconds into the rest of the peleton landing me in 2nd on GC and 3rd for stage 2. A hard day in the breakaway with an average power of 350w for 40min+ as well as a 20min power of just shy of 400w.

Day 2 was a hard day for me physically and mentally with two 70km+ stages. Stage 3 I managed to get another 3rd in a bunch sprint. Stage 4 was challenging with fatigue beginning to catch up, I managed to hold it together and finish in the bunch with a top 10.

Day 3 was a fun one starting off with a long 86km stage in the morning which was thankfully flat which led to an early break and lots of chasing for the group. I sat in and finished top 10 in a sprint finish with a failed attempt to lead Boston out for a sprint finish. To conclude the tour stage 6 was a fast criterium which I attacked from the gun and was away for an entire lap! Eventually got caught and rolled with the bunch until a long sprint finish where I got a mighty lead out from Jack.

Overall a great tour and I am super stoked with how I went with a 7th place on the general classification and being in top ten for all the other stages and classifications.

This race would not have been possible without my amazing sponsors which helped me and supported me with training, supplements and equipment. Big shout out to Dad for taking me down and putting up with my shit. Thank you so much to Bikes by Felix and the Nelson crew for your support with bike repairs, equipment checks and backing me up when things went south. A massive thanks to my coach Stuart for having me best preparing for the racing and backing me up.

Thanks heaps to CLM Richmond for allowing me to use the gym and pool for strength and recovery training. A massive thanks to Kinetrix Performance Gels for their awesome fuel, these gels saved me on those big days.

An average week of training as a 17 year old at a boarding hostel.

Training has been looking a lot like this recently, trying to stack higher miles whilst maintaining strength in intervals and gym sessions.

Big thanks to @richmond_aquatic_centre for supporting me generously with their amazing facilities, I have been seeing steady gains in my strength and power on and off the bike.

Also shout out to @kinetrix_performance for their amazing gels and continued support. Kinetrix Gels have been super helpful during the longer days where I need that extra boost on the bike as well as helping me try and score goals on the hockey field 😬.

And of course a massive thanks to @bikesbyfelix and @cubebikesnz for supporting me with bikes and equipment throughout my training. It has been a couple of weeks now on my new Cube Litening Aero C:68X and it is easily the fastest road bike I have ever ridden.

This bike is a rocket ship.
I am excited to announce that I am riding the brand new @cubebikesnz Cube Litening Aero C:68X with a few additional upgrades.

Pretty awesome to be riding this new bike as it is the only one currently in the country. Big thanks to @dontstoppedalling.co.nz for supplying me with brand new (UCI legal) bars. As well as new bars, I am now running 165mm @xcadeyofficial cranks which has been a game changer for comfort and power output on the bike. Also huge shout out to my amazing sponsors @bikesbyfelix and @cubebikesnz for making this new build possible, couldn't have done it without you.

It's a real privilege to be riding New Zealand's flagship Cube bike, so excited to see where this new weapon takes me.

Big shout out to @kinetrix_performance for their ongoing support with my cycling. Super happy to announce that I have become a brand ambassador for Kinetrix. Kinetrix is a super cool nature powered energy gel brand based in New Zealand. I am loving their gels and really seeing an improvement in my fueling during training and racing.

One of my favorite things about Kinetrix is that they are all natural, as they use a rare type of honey from New Zealand's native forests and steer clear of synthetic ingredients.

I am super happy with the way the gels fuel my body, being easy to digest, effective with refueling the body as well as enhancing focus and of course not to mention their sweet taste. Here are the stats on the gels:
-50g gel
-22.9g of carbs
-42.4g of sodium
-80mg of caffeine

If you would like to order some gels feel free to use my code: NOAH10 for a 10% discount off of your order. taken in Brightwater by @noahj_4137

Winter training 🥶
Super stoked to have the support from @richmond_aquatic_centre for my strength training on and off the bike. CLM has already helped me see gains in my cycling power from my morning strength training sessions. Using there awesome equipment has been a game changer for me, since they have all the equipment I could possibly need. It has also been really handy during rest and recovery days using the pool, sauna and spa for recovering the legs. Super gym, would recommend.

As always big thanks to the sponsors:

I have had this stupid idea for a couple of weeks now. Takaka Hill, Spooners range and The Whangamoa's, the 3 main state highway climbs out of Richmond. Pretty epic day out on my quick and comfortable @cubebikesnz Cube Litening Aero C:68X which munched up the miles today covering over 300km in under 11 hours. Shout out to @bikesbyfelix for stocking me up on snacks and supplies. Also shout out to @kinetrix_performance for their gels which I tried over the weekend, definitely a positive change from the synthetic gels. Overall a great day out and looking to more missions coming up. taken in Tasman, New Zealand by @noahj_4137

First couple of weeks on my new @cubebikesnz Cube Nuroad C:62 EX from @bikesbyfelix
Absolutely loving this new gravel bike, it is super capable on the technical stuff and still glides along the long endurance days. I also had the first round of @nmtbcx this weekend down at Saxton which was an epic race in the wet weather.

Looking forward to the racing I am going to get done on the new rig with Cyclocross quickly approaching and hopefully Editon Zero later in the year. taken in Tasman, New Zealand by @noahj_4137
