Little set of nesting serving trays out of curly cherry offcuts. Can wait for the color on this one to saturate over time!

I love being able to puzzle together objects with function out of material deemed scrap. The process also ensures that each piece is created uniquely in proportions and aesthetic. Hope to make many more pieces with this ethos in mind. taken in Los Angeles, California by @noahmichelon

Just finished cooking something up for @ericwareheim.

🍷 ABX Ply in Oil and Wax 🍷

Designed to complement the atmosphere of the home Eric is redesigning - but I will leave the exposé of the details to him. Thankful for being able to contribute to his evolving space.

It felt really great to get back to my roots using a more stereotypical building material with all of its weirdness and flaws.

Stool in sycamore spare parts.

It is a rewarding mental exercise - freeing really - to have the offcut pieces speak for themselves during the design process. The scrap pieces largely dictated the overall dimensions - no computers, no drawing, just the interaction of physical material in a process I feel is more similar to collage and assemblage.
