Derby season is almost over..... Messer and I fell a little short today in a local club derby. Ended up with a little of 19lbs which landed us in 2nd place for the day. Had a few missed opportunities today but thats the way it goes sometimes. Hopefully we can end the season with a bang on the last few that are left!!! by @noahschultzfishing

Winner Take All Bass Brawl was a success! Got the W and big bass! Not sure how derby day was gonna go because practice was very tough for me. Had full intentions of leaning hard on a glide bait bite but as the derby unfolded I quickly realized I needed to adjust. Found some fish in some milfoil and had to switch to the Yamamoto 10" Oki Worm. Put the Raptors down and would soak it in the grass to get some bigger bites. Once that dried up I had to find something else. Found some shallow rock and slow rolled the Buckeye Select spinner bait 3/4 Oz banging it around through the rock and got a few more to upgrade my limit to end the day. Was a wet windy day but had a blast!

Made a little drive and hopped into a little club derby with some of the guys from back home. The bite was tough and bites were far and few between but we got some of the right ones. Messer started the day for us with a big one on a Yamamoto Senko on some wood so we rolled with that and ground out a few more bites over the rest of the day flipping a Buckeye Thump jig paired with a Yamamoto Flappin Hog and Messer was playing clean up out of the back of the boat with a senko! Ended getting the W! by @noahschultzfishing
