7 Years. A little less than 1/4 of my life. Crazy.

It’s been a hell of a ride at the @classic.bass Champions Tour. First thing I ever filmed when I lost my job after COVID. First freelance job I ever had. Forever grateful for Scott Bonnema taking a chance on a very unproven, but passionate mid-20-year-old just trying to make it. What a fun adventure it has been. But as most know, all great things must come to an end at some point.

Have made so many great friends over the past 7 years covering the tour. So many incredible memories. My favorite part about my job with the Tour was that I got to cover someone’s “best day ever.” A truly unique experience, that’s hard to explain. But I got to film pure joy, triumph, elation, and a lot of life-changing moments. I got to see someone’s dream come true firsthand. Hard to explain how powerful that is, but it sticks with ya.

Those moments created some of the best friendships I have now to this day. And I’ll be forever grateful for the amount of time I’ve gotten to spend in a boat with Paul Neumann. Never thought I’d eventually become such great friends with the loudmouth, cigarette-smoking Tournament Director, but that’s what happened. I’ll cherish all the time we had on the boat together, seeing all your kids grow up, and now getting to fish with Ollie. It’s an experience that really shaped who I am today, and I’m very thankful for that.

I’ve gotten lucky enough to film/produce/cover so many events. Spend so much time, with so many anglers. And I’m very thankful for all of you allowing me to hop on, pester you for an interview in your most stressful time, and open up to me. All the time with the staff during the events, dinners after meetings, and traveling all over together. You all were the best family to me.

And lastly, Thank You to Dane for allowing me the freedom to tell stories, and cover events in a creative manner. We had a great time!

At the end of the day, I know I gave it everything I had, and a little bit extra. And I’m very proud of that. It’s been real Champions Tour Fam ✌️ 🍻

Time to go “all-in” on the @crappiechronicles and filming my own YouTube full time. We’ve got a lot more stories to tell.
