Ayo this Friday I’m stepping out from behind the bar at @soebarilm to spin. Every weekend we’ve got so many good artists & DJs coming thru and I’m stoked to finally get off and have a night up there. Got some homies pulling up throughout the night so this is gonna be a fun one.

In case you live under a rock and haven’t made it up to SOE yet - 251 n front st, Wilmington , NC (above Tap Tea Bar)

Expect breaks, UKG, fs some 140, and techno but honestly who knows where the nights gonna end up.

To kick off our first After Hours at its new home on Thursday, July 30th, we had to bring out the homie @jsmooth.dj to celebrate his birthday with us down in the @growlerstavern basement.

Jsmooth has been absolutely crushing it around town lately, playing all your favorite spots and collaborating with just about everyone in the scene. After catching a few of his recent sets, he’s easily become one of our favorite house selectors in Wilmington.

@nochasermusic, @arkivez, and @light.blue.lights will also be helping christen the new spot, so expect the genres to be all over the place in the best way. We’re seriously hyped for this one. More space, a bigger dance floor, and plenty to do if you need a break from getting down.

Per usual:

Been a while since I uploaded a mix. Lately I’ve been digging into tunes that live a step or two outside of 140, and it’s been heavily influencing my production and sets. Felt like the right time to start a new series to give this side of the project a home.

Different from my OPEN TABS mixes, this isn’t about showcasing my work but rather a space to lay out some of my favorite genres, sets, and mixes without restraint.
