. NOCUEDO EDITIONS is pleased to announce a new release, scheduled for next Thursday, September 17th. This is the debut album of TRAPEC (the new moniker of Chilean sound artist Jimmy Pizarro, —INSECTO / SPRO—), titled < espejismo en enfoque óptico >. Across its 11 tracks, this project explores uptempo rhythms that blend smoothly into a broad canvas of rich, tactile textures. It sits somewhere between cerebral sound design and a hypnotic, club-leaning dub-techno/minimal pulse. Stylistically, it shares some ground with the rhythmic sophistication of Shed, the hypnotic restraint of Efdemin, or the deep atmosphere of classic Basic Channel and Deepchord. The physical edition is highly limited—just 20 CD copies—packaged in a sealed industrial aluminum pouch with metallic labels printed on both sides. Inside, you’ll find a high-density matte black cardstock inner sleeve and a digital download card printed on bronze-pearlescent paper.
