I haven't done a "My story" post in awhile, I've gotten a few new followers so I'll catch all you new friends up on the story of "No Days Off"... my passion for coffee all started roughly 12 years ago as I was a fresh boot of a EMT, working over 100hrs per week, it was normal for a EMT to work consecutive hrs like 24, 48, or even 72hr shifts... we would always say we had " no days off" it felt...that been said I drank a lot of coffee to battle sleep deprived nights, I would even rock this reaper pin that was drinking coffee on my uniform, if he had no days off, neither do we... throughout the years of me drinking whatever coffee was near me, one day I thought to myself there has to be better coffee out there rather than this burnt black bitter oil I would always stumble across, so I took it upon myself to educate myself and transcended down this caffeine induced rabbit whole... not only did I fall in love with it all I fell in love with serving the people I loved and cared for... my brothers and sisters who worked along side with me and my family and close friends... fast forward a couple of years a motorcycle accident forever changed my life back in 2019, left me literally broken in the middle of the road, took me awhile to learn to walk again and rehab to some damaged nerves in my arm, during all this Covid 19 started up... all my brothers working in the feild warned me not to come back to work, not knowing at the time how dangerous this virus was and no one was getting any sleep during this time, so that's when I ultimately decided I should try something different and not risk getting my family sick or killing myself with being overworked and sleep deprived...what put the nail in the coffin for me was my wife got me a patch for Valentines in the past that had a reaper drinking coffee with the phrase "No Days Off" thats all I needed to set forth on this coffee adventure, I've done pop ups, catering and now im at the NDO HQ... tue-sat... the last images are my personal crazy calls I've ran that will always be with me... love you all and I promise to continue to serve you all with best possible coffee I can produce... let's see what the future holds - NDO by @nodaysoffcafe

Hey, did you get the news yet? We’ll be popping up both days this weekend on Saturday AND Sunday at @wallflourpizza with espresso drinks by @nodaysoffcafe. And there will be two savory pastries. And apparently it will be warm again so there will definitely be more tíramisu & almond meringue cake to keep you cool. But also pumpkin cake for the hopeful fall friends out there. PASTRY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT! Apparently y’all really enjoy laminated pastry so we will be ramping up the production on all those items so more of you can try. Most of the Pavé staples will also be available and of course Apple Fritters. We will continue to introduce fall flavored pastry as more fruit becomes available at the farmers market and it cools down a bit. As always we appreciate our hosts, our guests and everyone supporting us and spreading the word πŸ₯° This week, we will only be popping up on Sunday 10/11 @wallflourpizza. This week is going to look a little different for our popup schedule. We have a full weekend coming up! Two special opportunities to come say hi to your neighborhood bakers Join us on Saturday Oct 3rd at @lilcansandbottles for their seed starting workshop as a part of @ladesignweekend. We’ll be there starting at 10am with your favorite pastries. However, no fried items for lil’ Cans; we only want to serve those at their best, when they’re hot & fresh. The coffee cart will be open, and there will be Greek food by @calamakila and build your own bouquet by @longlostbuds 🌼 πŸ›» We will be back at @wallflourpizza with @nodaysoffcafe for our first ever Sunday, October 4th, 8- 11am with our regularly scheduled programming, including fritters.
