Hey you! Thank you for being here. There are more followers here as of lately and we want to thank you for supporting us. And if you haven’t stopped by our popups yet, please do! We truly believe everyday is worth treating yourself and having a little break from it all. It’s been really enjoyable getting to meet and getting to know you all. Plan this weekend event! You deserve good pastry🫰🏼 Repost from @pavebakery • Okay here’s your weekly pastry update from Pavé. We have a couple of changes for this Saturday 9/12 as well as a surprise or two. Apples have landed at the market so Apple Fritters are on the menu and we can’t wait to share them with you! Fluffy enriched dough and lightly sweetened apples seasoned with cinnamon and green cardamom then finished with vanilla bean glaze. So good. As always, we’ll post the final menu for this Saturday 9/12 after our market run. This will be a farewell to summer so come enjoy the last of stone fruit and berries before we transition to fall time flavors. Hope to see you there and thanks for everything, LA! Coffee & Pastries start at 8am.  📍Wallflour Pizza, 2128 Colorado Blvd, Eagle Rock 90041  🕗 Saturdays, 8am - 11am (or sold out)

On today’s episode of Small Business Supporting Small Business, we’re at Wallflour Pizza in Eagle Rock. 🍕 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I’m a thin crust pizza kind of girl, and before their tavern style pies even existed, Wallflour was already my favorite pizzeria in Los Angeles. Their original sourdough pizzas have the perfect thin, crispy crust that keeps me coming back, so when Brandon and Carolina announced an even thinner tavern style pizza available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I didn’t need any convincing, I was already planning my next visit. One of the things I appreciate most about Wallflour is that they’re not trying to be everything to everyone. Instead of a menu with a hundred different items, they’ve created a thoughtfully curated menu where every dish feels intentional. The menu changes with the seasons, they source beautiful ingredients whenever possible from local farmers markets and local merchants, and you can really feel the care that goes into every plate. It’s one of those places where you can tell the food was created because they genuinely love what they do, not because they’re trying to fill pages of a menu. Their space is just as beautiful as the food: warm, welcoming, and one of those restaurants you immediately feel comfortable spending time in. I also want to give a little extra love to Henry from No Days Off Coffee, who was born and raised in El Sereno. Not only is he serving incredible coffee inside Wallflour, but he’s also continuing the cycle of supporting other small businesses by hosting regular pop-ups. If you’re around tomorrow, stop by because they’ll be hosting a local bakery with what looked like some seriously incredible pastries starting at 8am. That’s exactly the kind of collaboration I love seeing. If you haven’t been to Wallflour yet, I hope you’ll add it to your list and if you’ve already been, I’d love to know your favorite thing on the menu because I’m always looking for an excuse to go back. This is Tirzah reporting from Wallflour Pizza and No days off coffee in Eagle Rock, signing off until next time. ❤️🍕#reels #coffee #smallbusiness #fyp #pizza 📍
