Thank you all for supporting us for 9 whole years! We can’t believe it’s been this long since our doors were first opened, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you who have shown us support throughout the years… you who’ve drank with us, dined with us, attended our special community events, drank our beer at restaurants and bars throughout the state, brought your friends and family to our doors, and have been loyal through the natural shifts, necessary changes and huge moments of growth. We couldn’t have made it this far without all of you!!

That all being said, we’d love to see you at the celebration of our 9th Anniversary, coming up on Oct 31st! As per tradition, will have a special IPA release for this day. @hitchandthegiddyup and @massivediva will take the stage, and of course, we will be hosting our annual Halloween costume contest - so come ready to compete, drink, and have a great time with us! We have been cooking up a new pear-conditioned barrel-aged table beer, with fresh CT-grown pears from Woodland Farm in South Glastonbury🍐

This week, the brewhouse team has been periodically punching-down the pears in the tank - a technique used primarily in wine, where whole fruit is pushed back into the fermenting beer to increase flavor extraction. We’re excited to share the results with you after aging! by @nodhillbrewery

Yesterday, our friend and long-time partner John Watson of @w.f.brewery came by to collaborate on another brew of Dabulous, a traditional and super-drinkable German-style export lager. This style is characterized by a soft, rounded texture and gentle malt sweetness, with a distinctive minerality from a sulfate-heavy water that accentuates the herbal hop bitterness and aromatics.

This is our 4th batch of Dabulous, but the first of its kind on the new BrauKon system. This version got some special treatment on our new brewhouse with a brief decoction to amplify honey flavors and aroma from the German malts. We’re excited to bring this one to you - Dabulous will be packaged in about 9 weeks so stay tuned! by @nodhillbrewery

We’re in full Fall swing here at Nod Hill and loving every bit of it! Tuck In has launched some fun Autumn specials for this week - complete with some super delicious homemade jams by Chef Annie - to get you fully in the leaf-crunching, Märzen-drinking, flannel-wearing spirit🍂

And don’t worry - that pair-able stein of Märzen (aka Old Homeplace) will be available for you this weekend😉

🍁Chicken salad sandwich, with an apple fig jam, mixed greens, and red onions, served on a ciabatta

🍁Fried cauliflower, tossed with garlic herb seasoning, tahini miso, sesame seed and pepita

🍁Smoked hot Italian sausage, with sautéed peppers and onions, tomato calabrian jam, parmesan cheese, served on a roll by @nodhillbrewery

Today: Moved to the Backspace due to possible rain, we have the music of Jerry Garcia from @themysterytrainband from 2-5pm and local grassroots organization @rebs.ct on site to help with voter registration and midterm info.
