dear younger me, you got your first poem published 🎀

Like anyone else in this field, i’ve experienced seasons of doubt regarding myself, my work + creative endeavours. Found myself questioning if what i’m doing is even worth it.

But it’s always at that exact moment that God will remind me why it is. Why things had to happen the way they did & why I should keep going.

All praise to Allah

pg. 47 & 48 are all yourz bby setou, enjoy xo

Thank you x100 to @loveandliterature__ for the feature💕 forever grateful!

currently writing a new piece for an upcoming performance & felt inspired to write this too. i tried my best to empathize with all those struggling with silent battles and losses that they don’t speak about <3

grief knocks for different reasons, but she affects many ppl in the same ways. the shut down, zone out & sudden energetic shifts are some signs, but everyone processes differently.

you never know if grief has made her way to someone’s house, so let’s just be more compassionate fr 🤍 by @nofables

We as humans carry many big emotions, but we are also made up of 60% water. These two entities have more similarities than we think. By understanding how water flows, only then can we truly grasp the emotions that flow within us, as nature is a reflection of us as beings.

thank you🤍
