What’s fun to eat in South Korea! Pretty much everything 😂

This restaurant is one of the recent gems that we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s casual, comfortable, hot pot style eating. If you’ve eaten at a Dookki restaurant before, you know what’s up 😎

You load up on ingredients laid out buffet style - rice cakes, noodles, mushrooms, spring onions, cabbage, rolled tofu, and if it floats your boat, meat and seafood. Pick your sauce and cook up a feast at your table. The hot pot base is typically spicy, but there are a few non-spicy options. There is only one vegan friendly sauce but that’s all we needed. The owner was super helpful, speaking some English.

All you can eat for 90 minutes, and it cost $23AUD for both of us! Bottomless coffee, tea, and soft drinks, plus snacks, are included.

Standing under cherry blossoms. City stretching out below.
Sakura blooms fast and drops fast.

No drama, no clinging. Just intense beauty for a short window, then it’s gone.

That’s the point.

Nothing lasts. Not the flowers, not this view, not this chapter of life.

So we don’t waste it. We stay present, travel light, keep moving, and protect what actually matters — our health, our time, our connection.

No waiting for someday. No chasing validation. Just living it while it’s here.

You kinda owe it to yourself to do all the things you’ve dreamed of.

Not someday. Not “when things calm down.” Not when you have enough saved, or the perfect plan, or when fear finally shuts up.

Right now.

My partner and I finally let go of the fear that had kept us anchored to the daily grind. We released the illusion of security, the comfort of “the known,” and stepped into the unknown with open hands and full hearts.
Life is heartbreakingly short and wildly precious. We realized we were trading our days for a future that might never feel like enough. So we chose to chase the dreams instead of waiting for permission.

Now we’re traveling the world, waking up to new horizons, new cultures, new versions of ourselves every single day. We move with intention, presence, and a beautiful non-attachment—open to whatever (and whoever) crosses our path. New experiences. New friendships. New opportunities that only reveal themselves when you’re actually moving.
We’re pouring our energy into our craft: videography, photography, and writing—capturing the raw beauty of freedom, the quiet magic of presence, and the courage it takes to live wide open. Not to perform a perfect life, but to share what’s real: that it’s possible to choose aliveness over safety.

If there’s something you’ve been dreaming of— a trip, a creative pursuit, a career shift, a way of living that lights you up—
listen to that quiet voice.

You kinda owe it to yourself.

Not because you “deserve” it (though you do), but because this one wild and precious life is yours to shape. The world is waiting to meet the version of you that stopped waiting.

It’s time to leave Bali. It’s no secret that we love this place and it hurts a little more each time we leave. But we have learned that it’s the contrast between our chapters that really highlights how special the character of each place and time is, and to master appreciating the diversity of the world for what it is.

We’ll be missing our bali family, including the pets, the exceptional food quality, the wide unrestrained smiles of the bali people, tropical thunderstorms in the forest, and balmy slow mornings on the beach.

But today we are boarding a flight to Singapore. And then onwards to China. A new chapter of mega cities, ancient hutongs, and super cars under the Shanghai skyline.

Thank you to my parents who welcomed me into this world. Thank you to everyone who expressed their kind wishes to me on this day that marks 39 years since my birth.
