POSTS STORIES REELS

A Conversation, On Water - Celine Condorelli Podcast

Well, that was an experience. Three hours on the Folkestone Voyager recording conversations with people whose lives are tied to the sea—fishers, swimmers, geologists, curators, and those navigating its borders, both literal and symbolic.

Big thanks to @chloe_does_stuff for roping me into this floating think tank and for capturing some solid evidence of me trying not to fall overboard with a boom pole in hand.

We recorded stories of labour, migration, hope, and dedication—mid-channel, no toilet, plenty of ginger tea, and a healthy respect for the unpredictability of the Channel. (Spoiler: I’m definitely not auditioning for Deadliest Catch anytime soon.)

Massive shout-out to @freyja.dw for jumping onboard and helping us record the conversations and the contributors for sharing their voices and sea-sense. And to the sea itself—for being both subject and setting.

@soundworks_folkestone finished and sounding great. 7.1.4 Dolby atmos sound design and mix room. Such a dream to work out of by @noiseandorder

It’s been nearly a year since we got the keys and started building our Dolby Atmos sound design room. It’s been a busy year and it’s starting to get crowded in here! by @noiseandorder

Adventure documentary setup 🎒

Huge thanks to @noiseandorder for sharing this one! A Sound Devices 833 running bag-mounted, with a pair of Sennheiser MKH 8020s protected by Radius fluffies for instant stereo ambience recording wherever the journey leads. Everything ready to move at a moment's notice!

SV2 VS The World now available on BBC iPlayer

I had the pleasure of working on this series from start to finish, providing both production sound alongside @boompolepat and then taking the project through post production sound to final delivery.

A huge thank you to @littledotstudios, @bbcsport, director @johnreavey and the entire production team for trusting me with the sound throughout.

Always satisfying to be involved in a project from location recording through to the finished program. by @noiseandorder

Testing the new @soundworks_folkestone portable 24track recording rig with some drum recording @thelivingroomno62 by @noiseandorder

No more recording ideas on phones.

I’ve been building a mobile 24-track recording rig that can roll into @thelivingroomno62 and capture performances properly.

The aim is simple: turn rehearsals, live sessions, songwriting sessions and gigs into high-quality multitrack recordings without needing a computer or a full studio setup. Just hit record and go.

The rig is centred around a Cymatic uTrack24 with 24 simultaneous inputs and a selection of quality preamps including AML EZ1073s, Focusrite ISA and vintage 1960s valve preamps.

Whether you’re a band wanting to capture a live set, an artist recording ideas, a podcast, or a venue looking to document performances, everything is recorded as individual tracks ready for mixing and mastering afterwards.

Available as dry hire or with me engineering the session.

This video is me wiring up the rack. The audio isn’t from the rig yet… it’s still a phone recording. Soon there’ll be no excuses. by @noiseandorder

Big thanks to @hotcoalsproductions for the loan of their foley door. by @noiseandorder

Thought I’d share a bit of sound design process I’m using for a horror film by @noiseandorder

Went to the Rio Cinema last night to watch a collection of films exploring class in British culture.

Great to see working-class stories on a big screen. Extra special hearing some of my work play out in a place that’s always meant a lot to me.

Thanks to @riocinema , @independentcinemaoffice and @dailiesfilm. by @noiseandorder
