United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship!

Tied 11th out of 148

I couldn’t begin to say how grateful I am for this sport and for the people around me. To everyone who wished me luck or came and watched me or gave me a fist bump, thank you!

Three rounds of Toboggan is mentally and physically challenging. After my first round I was super bummed I knew I was out of it but I never gave up. I played a phenomenal last 35 holes of disc golf until my very last hole of the weekend. I am proud of my finish and super stoked to see that I have the skills to compete with the best.

Shoutout @twanngocrazy for all these super cool pictures, with plenty of videos to come aswell.

Thanks to my friends who came and watched.

United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship

I had the honor of playing in this prestigious tournament against a field of some of the best amateurs in the country. I finished tied 17th out of 148 players while shooting even par total on the weekend. This course had me on a roller coaster ride all weekend. The wind was crazy Friday and Sunday and the first day it definitely got the best of me. I had an amazing time playing with guys across the country with lots of familiar faces which was so cool seeing some of them again. I can’t wait for this event next year where I can hopefully capitalize from the mistakes this year.

Thank you @pdga @discraftdiscgolf for an amazing event. #usadgc #discgolf taken in Kensington Metropark Toboggan Run Disc Golf Course by @nolanjohnson11
