Hello friends 🤍 Meet our newest rescue pup, Ben.

Ben landed at East Valley Shelter, and we scooped him up today, thank you John and Nola for the freedom ride. He’s now getting checked by our vet, and we’re hoping to place him in a loving foster home as soon as possible. He may need to be separated from other dogs for a couple of weeks, so we urgently need a foster or temp foster who can give him a safe, calm space.🥹

If you can foster Ben, please email us right away or submit a foster application. Email: foster@iswmp.org or fill out an app via linktree in our bio.

We also need help with Ben’s medical care, vaccines, neuter, supplies, and vet bills add up quickly. If you’re able to skip a coffee and contribute even a small amount, it means so much to Ben and the many dogs depending on us. We need your help more than ever.

PayPal & Zelle: info@iswmp.org
Venmo: @istandwithmypack

🚨Please donate only to our verified charity account, beware of impersonators and never send donations to individual or business accounts.

Please share for Ben. Every share gives him a better chance at finding his foster and forever home. Thank you for being part of his village. 🐾

3 weeks ago, Nola took me to see The Black Crowes. I told her it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to see them live. Tonight she said "Hold my my wine" and...wow by @nolasinger

ADOPT SKIPPY! 💛🌻

(P.S. Skippy needs a temp foster by 9/10. A foster-to-adopt would be ideal! ☺️)

Skippy is a sweet, soulful 1.5-year-old Long-Haired Chihuahua mix weighing just 11 pounds. With his soft beige-and-white coat, crimped ears, and gentle heart, this little guy is impossible not to love.

Found as a stray, Skippy was shy at first but is blossoming in foster care with patience, gentle introductions, and a little cheese. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, though his sensitive nature means he’d thrive in a calm home with older, gentle children. A confident dog buddy his size could help build his confidence, but he’ll also happily soak up love from his people.

Skippy is ready for a patient, caring forever family to help him feel safe and cherished. ❤️

Meet Skippy: 📧 adopt@iswmp.org or apply at www.iswmp.org/adopt

Nola, a heart beats 100,000 times a day, except for one year ago today when you walked into my life and mine skipped one entirely. You were more beautiful than your photos, more charming than our texts, and when you smiled, it lit up my soul. It was supposed to be an early drinks for one hour to see if there was a spark, but as I walked you back to your car 5 hours later, my heart was on fire. You told me recently it's somehow felt like we've been together for both 3 months and 3 years. And that makes sense because one year ago tonight I kissed you goodnight and time stood still.

Happy anniversary to my favorite person. You've made this the best year of my life, and I can't wait for all the ones to come.

And to anyone who thinks this post is too schmaltzy, please direct your complaints to Nola, as this may have been written from my heart, but it belongs completely to her. by @nolasinger

Every breed is available for rescue! We are euthanizing millions of animals everyday. Thousands of dogs are homeless and being illegally bred and suffering on the streets in Los Angeles. I keep hearing from politicians that “animal welfare will be a priority for me”, “we are learning” or “I’ve been busy before but now I’m ready.” These dogs are hiding under a car in 90° heat on Skid Row and they have been there for months. Action should’ve been taken long ago, but every politician continues to drag their feet.

We don’t believe you. We have lost trust in you. We don’t care about words on a website. We care about action and enforcement. by @nolasinger

Hundreds of millions of dollars pour into Skid Row to help (?) the homelessness problem but these Skid Row dogs have to "live" chained up and sleep in suitcases? WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING? It's corrupt and evil. This is 5 minutes from City Hall and 25 minutes from Beverly Hills. by @nolasinger
