Zürich through my lens

It quite exactly 9years that I enrolled to do my Undergrad for Photography. I cant believe nearly a decade passed, since I decided to pursue photography professionally.
While my editing style has changed, I feel what I snap and how i frame it is still pretty much the same
Zürich has often been one of my subjects- since my hometown is close by

Currently knitting a experimental make it up as you go cardigan ( I think at least that Im knitting a cardigan )
I grabbed some yarn from my stash and just started playing with stitch patterns, did a swatch and cast-on.
i‘m traveling so single fairly big projects are kinda the way to go IMO. This seemed the easiest thing to do

I rarely do the „knit and see where I end up“ route Usually I have very concrete ideas of how I want the finished project to looks- I might do a bit for trial and error along the way (tbh often its more like a lot than a bit) and change some minor things but cast on with no sketches and zero plan seems to be my summer knitting MO this year. So I‘m just rolling with it. I am not quite sure how long I want to make the cardigan, what kind buttons or button taps i want, or what kind sleeves Ill knit- if I even want to knit sleeves.. as I said I am deciding as I am knitting, kinda just letting things fall into place This cardigan basically is designing itself

My current i inspirations:

... so this is for us.
This is for us who sing, write, dance, act, study, run and love
and this is for doing it even if no one will ever know
because the beauty is in the act of doing it.
Not what it can lead to.
This is for the times I lose myself while writing, singing, playing
and no one is around and they will never know
but I will forever remember
and that shines brighter than any praise or fame or glory I will ever have,
and this is for you who write or play or read or sing
by yourself with the light off and door closed
when the world is asleep and the stars are aligned
and maybe no one will ever hear it
or read your words
or know your thoughts
but it doesn’t make it less glorious.
It makes it ethereal. Mysterious.
Infinite.
For it belongs to you and whatever God or spirit you believe in
and only you can decide how much it meant
and means
and will forever mean
and other people will experience it too
through you.
Through your spirit. Through the way you talk.
Through the way you walk and love and laugh and care
and I never meant to write this long
but what I want to say is:
Don’t try to present your art by making other people read or hear or see or touch it; make them feel it. Wear your art like your heart on your sleeve and keep it alive by making people feel a little better. Feel a little lighter. Create art in order for yourself to become yourself
and let your very existence be your song, your poem, your story.
Let your very identity be your book.
Let the way people say your name sound like the sweetest melody.

So go create. Take photographs in the wood, run alone in the rain and sing your heart out high up on a mountain
where no one will ever hear
and your very existence will be the most hypnotising scar.
Make your life be your art
and you will never be forgotten.

Today is literally the first day since the 2nd of May that i picked up my needles
I am still got Inara on the go,which I probably will retire until September
I cast on a cardigan in April which I called Aynar.-the idea was that Ill wear it to my nieces wedding. Which I did, but I decided to add a longer rib at the seam and button taps. So I finally picked it up again …
I am pondering if i should do another single project summer. BUt I also really feel like doing some crochet .. taken in Istanbul Türkiye by @nomadsdwellings

Spring is my favourite time to visit one of my favourite cities. Then again Ive only been there in spring so I might be a little biased. Yet let me tell you spring in Lisbon is wonderful! So much to explore and if you time it right there are not too many tourists yet. Irs a city for all tastes- lots of goos food, lots of museums, great shops, culture, history and friendly people.
I took this photo just after sunrise- on one of my early morning walks- and its on of my favourite photos i gave taken so far
