Over the years, we have refined the C15 through many evolutionary steps, but now it is time for a complete redesign. The C25 is our next step in the world of performance synthesizers. It combines the qualities of the C15 with many new ideas.

Behind the scenes, Part III: Meet Justus, one of our programmers who as a teenager started developing games and found plenty of joy in the hobby.
Having started as a student trainee 2017 he became a full employee two years later.
Responsible for the C15 and C25 software his duties include a wide range of topics from operating system over WebUI styling to folding origami cranes. This versatility of being busy in all fields of software makes him happy with his tasks.

In the second installment of our series "behind the scenes" let us introduce you to product designer David. Having made music since his youth, designing a synthesizer was a dream come true for him.

As he is working at the crossroads of industrial and screen design as well as software development David is a sort of jack-of-all-trades (reflected by the "most chaotic desk in the office" in his own words).
His duties include conceptualization of features and work flow and software development, and if time allows also DSP development.

Nie wygląda jak typowy syntezator. I zdecydowanie nie brzmi jak jeden 👀🎛️

Nonlinear Labs C15 to instrument stworzony przede wszystkim do performance’u — z wyjątkowo ekspresyjną klawiaturą, ribbonami i ogromnymi możliwościami kształtowania dźwięku w czasie rzeczywistym.

Jego cyfrowy silnik Phase 22 potrafi przejść od organicznych, niemal akustycznych brzmień do kompletnie eksperymentalnych tekstur. Bez kopiowania klasycznych syntezatorów — C15 ma własny charakter.

To jeden z tych instrumentów, które naprawdę warto zagrać samemu, żeby zrozumieć, o co w nim chodzi.

The German electronic production duo Mouse on Mars (aka Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma) just released their new album SPATIAL, NO PROBLEM, a unique and brilliant collaboration with legendary dub/reggae pioneer Lee "Scratch" Perry. This is Perry's last ever official album project before his passing in 2019. Recorded in 3 days at Mouse on Mars' Paraverse Studio in Berlin in 2019. Lee, Jan and Andi conducted a revolving cast of musicians and collaborators throughout the complex's different rooms and spaces. SPATIAL, NO PROBLEM finds the artists breaking new ground - the one thing Lee was sure of was that this shouldn't be just another reggae album. It covers everything from krautrock, ambient, dub, jazz, New Orleans brass and much more. Work on the continuous keyboard sensing for the C25 synthesizer commences.
The weighted keyboard of our choice you might know from the C15 unfortunately does not offer polyphonic aftertouch. So we decided to upgrade it with our own technology, replacing the old switch sensors with entirely new electronics.
