“Whiria te tāngata”

No better way to wrap up the wāhanga than hanging out and weaving pōtae with Nanny Kumeroa 🤍

It’s the full circle effect! These ākonga have learnt karakia, learnt to hoe waka, learnt to swim, learnt to dive, learnt to harvest kuta, learnt to hang and dry their kuta, and now have learnt to weave their own pōtae!

This has been an amazing end-to-end journey of reconnecting with our tūpuna through the mātauranga of this precious taonga.
Blessed and grateful beyond measure.

Nanny will be ringing in hot for all the kūta harvests, what a privilege 🌿
