Je me devais de peindre la plus belle ville de France, @toulousefr , sur une montre. Évidemment j’ai pris une montre française pour ça !
J’ai choisi La Grave parce que c’est là que je suis né et aussi pour l’emblème que cet endroit représente pour la ville Rose.

Evidemment du @bigfloetoli pour la musique et c’est parti !

I had to paint my hometown, Toulouse, on a watch. This is where I’m born, yes, in the building I draw, this is where I live and this is one of the best city in France.

👾 I never really introduced myself, even on my account. So I’m going to, through this post.

Hi, I’m Pierre, I’m not that serious, I just didn’t know @emiliedefreitas.photo was taking my face instead of the watch on the first pic 👀. Anyway, I’m a French watch lover, just like y’all. But I also draw on them as some of you already know.

What can I say more ? I have some cool watches, and I’m showing them to you, especially on weekends with « Sunday in France » where I bring you with me on the French villages and countryside. 🐔

Like we say in France : « Une fois n’est pas coutume » so today no 𝑆𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝐹𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 but a 𝑆𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑖𝑛 Italy, part II ! 🇮🇹

Venice is very stunning ! If you go out the « passing zones » you can find places with no tourist at all, as you can see on some pics. Abandon yourself in the small streets and you will see !
Nice food, some spritz 🍹, beautiful monuments and colorful houses, and even some pretty cool sunset : this is the Venice I saw !

Anyway, I took my vintage Herma (alongside with the Tsuyosa if you saw part I) and I think this one was perfect for the journey ! You just have to see the pic in the Fenice Theater to agree with me ✨

I have enough pics to do a part III, but let me know if I should just go back to the traditional « Sunday in France » for next week 😁

Who wants a bit more of hand painted Freud ??
Let me show you a bit of the BTS, painting @its_time_to_show_off_watches ‘s cat, the now famous Freud on this Casio !

First, Bruno send me a few pics of Freud. After a few talks and analysis, we agreed that this pose would be the best one to fit the dial perfectly !

First attempt for me on paper, just to warmup ✏️

The Virgin dial… you won’t be this white for long bud !

And here we go, on the dial. As you can see, second attempt on the scale first, still on paper and with another type of paint.

Freud as such an unique fur, a lot of different colors. That’s what makes him unique !!

It starts to looks like him a lot, right ?

My view during a few days. How can it be better ?? 😸

It’s #fancywatchfriday and if this isn’t the fanciest watch in existence, I don’t know what is. I mean, it has a painting of the fanciest cat ever. Hand painted by the one and only @noractime . How much fancier can a watch get? @aviantime , is it fancy enough for you to overlook the song?

So, yesterday was wifey’s birthday. Man, I love that woman. I’m very lucky to have her, and so is Freud. Parabéns, Budi ❤️. As you can see, Freud collaborated with @noractime to get wifey the ultimate birthday gift. And @noractime really came through. What a talented artist! Thank you for your patience, for playing along with all the secrecy, and for the amazing work of art 🙌.

Moving to another very important topic, #treeniswatchweek starts next Monday 😱. The greatest theme week off all time is happening from October 5 to 10, hosted by Commander-in-treenis @compulsive_watch_collector , @kaiwithtime , @its_time_to_show_off_watches (myself), @barrybouquet and @normnorman70 . That’s right, we have reinforcements 😂. Just hang any watch on a suspicious looking tree branch, snap a pic, use the hashtag and tag the hosts. All the hosts, or I will find you.

🕷️ Spider-Man sur une montre ? Pas de problème ! L’homme araignée m’a été demandé comme commande personnalisée. Après plusieurs tests et dessins pour trouver la meilleure position de Peter (oui je vous révèle qui est Spider-Man si vous ne le saviez pas) on a déterminé que celle-ci, où il semble s’accrocher aux indexes, serait la meilleure !

Sur le cadran noir de cette Tsuyosa, petit clin d’œil aux ruelles et aux nuits new-yorkaises, il ressort vraiment bien dans son costume et ses couleurs traditionnelles !

« The ability to transform a stock watch into a piece of art » one of my client said this one day after receiving his watch I painted, and I particularly love this phrase ! Very flattering but also pretty accurate with what I want to provide. I’m seing this like « From a stock watch to a NoracTime piece », but « piece of art » is even more amazing 🤩

*The almost complete process of how I hand painted this Casio « Pool Chilling » 🛟 ☀️

Forgot to film the re-assembling part… and also the painting of the box… and the part where I clean the paint from the palette… forgot to document the moment I took pics of it and post it on the website.

Then I had to prepare it ‘till it reaches the US (dealing with the customs while being in holiday too 😂)

Anyway, this is how it’s made in a very short vid’ ! Let me know if you would like a very detailed step by step process from a ‘stock watch’ to a NoracTime piece !

After a lot of work, doing some amazing and cool hand painted watches (yet to be unveiled here) for you, it was holiday time for me this week ! And we went to Italy, once again.

For this part one (to much to share with you to do it on only one post 😂) here some Tsuyosa between Murano & Burano. These colorful houses were perfect to catch some good pics of the watch.

I liked Burano much more than Murano and would probably go there another time ! Anyway, I wish you an amazing Sunday folks and stay tuned, a lot more to come. Of this little trip and also of painted watches for you to have your unique timepiece 😁
