happy chinese new year!! 🔥🎠 kung hei fat choy!! 🧧🏮

2026 is literally MY year, year of the fire horse — this year signals new beginnings, lots of projects, and leaving things in the past to move forward, with momentum. where are my other horses at??

I'm also so proud of my first ever plane piece + new colours unlocked for this year: lavender and red. prepare to be sick of seeing them

ALSO if I make this available as an art print, do you prefer the full piece or the cropped version? I can't decide, lmk 🤭

love you, here's to continuing to trust God and moving forward with faith

xoxo,
Mimi <3

"WISTERIA"

my first sigilism design!! yk I had to put it on her stomach/waist. the white ink is intentional btw, I hope you're loving Anaïs / Wisteria as much as I'm loving writing and drawing her!

I love details + helpful yet subtle descriptions for my pieces, it's giving magazine / artbook, which parallels what my traditional sketchbook looks like. Expect my #oc pieces to follow this format too! (Because backgrounds take so long and are so me in 2022)

I have a bunch of other characters lined up, so excited to introduce them to you guys 😛 The #mimiverse is expanding one #oc at a time

"KITTY" 🦊

I'm finally done this piece and I'm also done UNI!! like forever!! I lowkey have a bachelors degree 👩🏻‍🎓

before anyone compares Kitty's likeness to any other character — the space buns and bangs are an elite combo, especially on Asian girls — but she's one of my oldest original characters and is super gorgeous to me

fun Kitty facts — made between 2015-16, half Cantonese-half Japanese, climbs at a V6 level 🧗🏻‍♀️ and loves a sweet treat 🍭

in the meantime I'm enjoying summer and working on more #ocdrawing artwork to share, between this, j*b applications, and art markets, I plan to have the whole (current) Mimiverse character roster out by the end of this summer/September!! you guys aren't ready (I know I am >:D)

me = MĪMĪ, the artist (right)
MĪMĪ = persona, my 2D alter ego (left)

outfits I wore in March 💌

trying something different and something simple with these first three fits of my "get ready with MĪMĪ" reels series, taken on my cell phone cam! (drawn on #procreate)

thinking of upgrading to a digi cam instead using my cell phone, thoughts?

also which one is your fav (for me it's fit 3!)

kitty glow up! 🦊

currently upgrading all my ocs! here's a quick kitty sketch turned digital, i gave her silver tips + lilac accents to contrast her red colour way

2 hour digital artwork vs 10 min traditional sketch

comment some assumptions you have about her 👀

+ i'm planning on posting some kitty art i received from some moots - would you wanna draw her too? by @nordqst

wisteria glow up! 💜

I made this character back in 2021-22! you might recognize her from my "SAKURA" piece if you scroll down (or swipe to the end).

Her call name is Wisteria but I'm thinking of naming her Anaïs (reminded me of star anaïs).

How do we like her new plat locs? + I'm so excited to share her weaponry and accessories soon 🙂‍↕️

Fun fact: she rides a lavender Ducati (for all the bikers that follow, help me decide which model)
