It’s a new month and you know what that means…

You got it, we’re featuring another artist ✍️

Artist of the month Mimi Nordquist @nordqst

Mimi is a talented illustrator and live sketch artist. You have to check out her Live Photo Booth over at @sketchymimi it’s pretty cool ❤️‍🔥

Meet the character she created in the calendar.

This is Kitty. A strong young woman who chooses to protect and fight for her community. She stands up for what’s right, even when it feels like she’s all alone fighting against the world.

But she’s NOT alone and neither are you.

Keep being the change you wanna see out there. YOU are the main character of your own story. ❤️‍🔥

that's a wrap on 2025! 💌

I'm so thankful to every table buddy, guest, fellow vendor, and host I've met through my many markets this year! you've inspired me to keep creating and to keep sharing. I love doing pop-ups and bringing smiles to your faces - thank you for your support 🫶🏼

I launched Sketchy Mimi not just as a live drawing booth, but as a way to showcase ALL of my sketchy activities ✍🏼 with that said, although I'm taking a break from pop-ups and events, I'm super excited to share lots more sketchy business with you 🤭🤍

I'm so grateful for everyone I've met and all the love and support shown on my journey so far, and thank you for a fruitful 2025 🤍

anything specific you'd like to see from me this year? 🫣

haven’t posted a lot of photos of my markets, but it’s officially been three months since my first market and it’s been so amazing !! i started joining markets as a way to meet new people and communities after moving away from the place i grew up. now that i’ve been to four markets, and have my stickers at a shop, i can say i’ve done just that and more !!!!!

thank you to all the new people i’ve met, and the recurring faces that come to see my new stuff!! thank you to my friends and family who’ve continued to support me 🥹 i never thought id go back to making art and taking it more seriously, but i really have been surprising myself and my inner child a lot lately—so it was bound to happen.

thank you to @coyotebonescollective, @makersunion905 & @themisfitsmarket for believing in me and having me!!!!! you all have made my first few market experiences sm fun and amazing !!!!!!
