Calling all Norman Artists! Applications for the 1st Round of the 2026/2027 Fiscal Year Artist Grants are now open! Grants of $2,000 will be awarded to artists in 3 categories: Community Project grants, Creative Project grants, and Education grants. Up to 4 Grants will be awarded. Applications are due Wednesday, November 11, by 11:59 pm! Learn more and apply at normanarts.org/artistgrants or at the link in our bio! The NAC is proud to announce the Dennis Brigham Photography Grant. One grant in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to one Norman resident. Applications are now open as of September 30, along with our Artist Grants. Applications are due November 11. More information can be found on our website at normanarts.org/artistgrants

Dennis would always say he was "just a simple farmer," but we knew him as so much more. Dennis was a loving husband and father, and a dedicated leader and volunteer in the community. Since 2017, he was a member of the Norman Arts Council Board, serving on the Executive Committee and as President. Serving the NAC was his particular passion, and it was where he found his community of fellow artists and art enthusiasts. His interest in photography began as a kid when he experienced his Grandfather's original Polaroid Land Camera, Model 95. This grant was created to show our love and appreciation for our friend and to honor his love for the Norman arts community.
